I'm calling cell phone company to report issues with connexn

Basically, inside my neighborhood I have lots of problems with dropped calls, missed calls, etc. I get few bars in my neighborhood, but if I go 100 metres in any direction, the problems disappear and I get lots of bars.

I'm going to call my cell phone company to report this. The only thing is, What can they do about this? What kinds of things would one expect them to tell me? Because I don't have any idea how this conversation will go, I'm not comfortable entering into it.
