I thought that I might add that there exists the probability that black holes convert a portion of their absorbed materials/energy into another higher dimension. This would not violate entropy within the universe, as upshifting to a higher dimension is a form of increasing entropy. The extra dimensi... |

I have a hypothesis on how black holes develop and work. There are those who will not accept what I have to say and that is ok with me. To be able to understand black holes, one must first understand both electromagnetic radiation (what is commonly referred to as light) and matter/anti-matter. Alber... |

To answer your original question: Yes, someone with ASD can be a good teacher. My immediate family contains three teachers. I teach chemistry classes at a university, while my sister teaches at a high school and my mother is a retired grade school teacher. From my student evaluations and their place... |

Does it say anything about greedy people paying too low of wages or charging too high of prices for things so families can’t afford to provide the necessities for their kids? It’s not always about people making poor choices of how to spend their money. Plenty of people work full time and have to ch... |

I wish more people majored in the STEM fields such as engineering. I chose electrical engineering (sophomore --> junior) as my academic major because of the flexibility in career options and the high salary potential relative to other jobs. A Pro about having a dearth of STEM majors is that it is m... |

But people have to live in places with access to public transportation. Or quite near the job—preferably within 10 miles. If someone has a minimum wage job in a city, yet lives about 30 miles from the city, the cost of gas can offset the earnings accrued. Where did I say a person has to live in the... |

This. I have no idea why people want to live in cities and why they fork out so much money for doing so. There are plenty of jobs outside of cities. Social lives, amenities, restaurants, access to government services, hospitals and medical services, safety/law enforcement, night life, their friends... |

Yes, but that does not mean one has to live downtown in the most expensive areas to have those jobs. |

@Nades: People didn't plan on being so poor for their efforts. Housing costs have risen about 6x in 15-16 years. Tradesmen with "good," incomes have trouble making rent, buying groceries, or keeping heat on. Doctors/lawyers/engineers can't afford to buy homes anywhere near where they live... |

Unless the AI turns against us and we become the worker bees for it instead. Those deemed useless will likely become culled by the AI. . Yeah I've seen that movie the Matrix, No, logically an AI hive mind would see no purpose for humans once they have the capacity to self-manufacture (after all mac... |

One way to look at the skilled vs. unskilled worker definition is how easy would one be replaced by automation. Robots and machines can be built to do many tasks, skilled or unskilled. The job that has the simplest task is usually the one who gets replaced first. The best way to protect your place/j... |

Yes, I have created content before on a popular website. I cannot disclose which one because it would potentially give my identity away. I put some of my ideas on the site to time stamp them for proof of when I came up with those ideas. They are not well advertised on purpose, so very few people kno... |

As a scientist, I have always had a constant drive to find out about different topics. It led me to take things apart and “Frankenstein” them together as a kid. Some of the things that I created were quite dangerous to others. I played with various poisons and explosives as a child, so chemistry is ... |

I found a video that details how to test one in the field. A neodymium magnet can be used for the initial test. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bhlbntm3-tE The OP might have a non-metallic/non-stone one, which would be very rare in type. It would likely not be attracted to a magnet. Most of them are ... |
