People learn to control their autism symptoms as they get older, so it sounds to me like you may very well be autistic. However, if you really want to be sure, seek a professional diagnosis.

Autistic people commonly either have a low or high pain tolerance. It's more common for autistic people to be less sensitive to pain, but I have an incredibly low pain tolerance. There was one time when I was getting a cavity filled, and the dentist gave me the maximum safe dose of Novocaine, but it...

No more, but I had a huge group of imaginary friends as a child.

I just got accepted into my school's Veterinary Technician program. As of right now, I didn't take any animal courses (I will take them next semester) but I am doing Microbiology and Computer Literacy.

1. I am different (people hate and fear all things different.)
2. They are intimidated by something about me, such as intellect.
3. Due to my "unusual" behavior, people fail to understand me, and that scares them.
4. I may say or do something that the other person misinterprets.

Love is a completely different feeling from having a crush, and it is difficult to explain. You'll probably figure it out when it happens. A crush or infatuation could be confused with love, especially by a young person who has never been in love before. With a crush, you simply obsess and daydream ...

I agree: punishing everybody because of one person is not only unwarranted; it's cruel. I attended a transition program for people on the spectrum, and I had a teacher who would shame and demean the entire class if some people did poorly on a certain project. This was bad enough that some students h...

It does sound to me like you might have autism, but I'm not a professional, and even if I was, I couldn't just diagnose someone over the internet. My advice would be to talk to your psychologist about autism, and ask to get tested for it.

That person was making a stereotypical assumption, and needs to be educated on autism. There is no such thing as "looking" like you have Aspergers.

People like that drive me crazy to no end. In high school, I once had a boyfriend who was like that. He seemed like a sweet guy when I first started dating him, but that was just his bait. As far as he was concerned, I was not even a human being. He wanted to marry me young and have me barefoot and ...
