Hi! Could you be more specific as to what you mean by "good social skills" and "struggle with very basic tasks"? How specifically do you know that you have "good social skills" if you don't have any friends? Did you score high on a "social skills" test? Did a...

Hi. Thank you all for your time. I appreciate all of the helpful replies. But just reminding me that I need to be professionally assessed for a diagnosis is not very helpful. As I touched upon in my original post, I am not in a position where this is feasible. I'm financially dependent and I live i...

I have definitely put off going to bed. TV/Books/Video Games/Cleaning Sometimes I use the fear of waking up tired in the morning to get me to go to bed, but that does not really help. Laying in bed, you lose other forms of distraction, its just you and your mind. Are you worried about what situatio...

It's like all my thoughts and worries hit me before bed and I am having a mental meltdown, it stops then I can sleep. Meltdown lasts 15-20 minutes of basically heighted anxiety and worry until a meltdown that you're glad you're alone while this is happening...

As you don't have social anxiety, there may be a local Meet-Up group for people on the spectrum that you could join. If so, you would meet people there who could tell you their search diagnosis and where or h...
