When I was young no one locked their guns up in a safe, they would be on display on a rack or in a cabinet with glass doors. No safety locks for hand guns.People openly carried long rifles on display in racks in trucks. You could order guns from the Sears catalog and have them delivered to your door....

There is something very sick in our society that is causing this violence. And the society appears to want to talk about everything related, everything superficial, everything partisan, and not get down to directly and comprehensively addressing that . Which then raises the question of what exactly...

I use acrylic paint and not oil paint, but it's still bad, right? That is probably in the, "well, it kinda depends", category. Rather than issue a value judgement I'll give some information about the science, which may perhaps be used to form a judgement ... https://www.chemistryislife.co...

Not actually knowing the details in this, there could certainly be a non-smothbrain explanation. The rail line could well be temporary closed; any even partly competent scene commander would have contacted the railroad immediately or their would not be a supply line over the tracks. May 3, ...

The more exposed I am to politics, the less I want to do with it. The opposite of partisans' supposed goal. I have been on both sides of the "Yes! Vote!" and "why bother" thing at various points in my life. Sometimes I will say, things like, "So hard to decide whether to vo...

What I want is a typical modern UK primary school classroom, with desks that are pushed together to make bigger tables, and sets of coloured drawers and toys and work displays and a brightly-coloured theme. It's supposed to be a classroom designed for 5-year-olds, not highschoolers. Being in the US...

The real cause of autism is ...those secret hideous experiments performed by the CIA decades ago- to cross humans with bottle nosed dolphins. That infusion of Flipper DNA into the human race did it. That was an actual theory I heard once. If that theory were true, then wouldn't I be as pretty as a ...

I read earlier today that a kid in the UK got sent home from school just for wearing shorts during the heat wave. I don't understand that, as shorts are actually part of the uniform in UK schools, unless it was at a high school, because at high school all students must wear blazers, ties and trouse...
