A parent who lied to me so I wouldn’t call CPS on her. Sorry about your luck!

I wonder if you could make extra money tuning pianos, like my great aunt Marguerite did in the early 20th century.

It would require a lot of training and an apprenticeship. Unqualified people can really mess things up.

A grand piano?

No, an affordable but nice upright. I might upgrade someday when I have $20,000 or so to spare or can afford a payment plan.

I think people don’t worry too much about it because they don’t see it directly. Most people try not to think about it. Most people also try not to think about the deplorable living conditions of the animals that are raised for consumption.

Usually, it's about religiosity embracing pseudo-science and homophobia, but there's always been a racist element there, too. I was home “schooled.” There was pseudoscience and homophobia but the racism was replaced...

Living languages are constantly evolving to reflect the needs of the people. There’s nothing new about this concept.

Elton John should be Pope. He wears almost as many rhinestones. This would be a perfect solution to the problem with homophobia in the Church. Of course, someone who’s younger and has more sex appeal might be even better. Sex appeal is the primary thing I look for in a religious or political leader...
