Jean de Florette
Manon de la Source

Those two go together

Pour Elle
La Femme Nikita

The two above have English version which are much inferior to the French originals.

Un Homme et une Femme - I can still hear the theme song.

The old films of Francois Truffaut.

I also loved the spirea growing all over the neighborhood where I grew up. Your posts, Misslizard, are a trip down a pleasant memory...

I have good fruit development on the Pickering and Jean Ellen mangos and moderate fruiting on the Maha,...

The entire article is worth reading. I’m not sure AI is the right term here. They are just using an algorithm. Of particular note: The algorithm used to determine when to remove a child from parents is secret. Even attorneys for the parents cannot see it. And: algorithm can include things like race,...

It kind of sickened me when I realized some of the things I went through was abuse, but after a while, the realization helped me to heal.

I hope you can heal too.

Something like 22 states already have banned books from school libraries. It isn’t like DeSantis is just protecting some little kids, he is cutting out major modern topics from colleges and universities, has restructured one state university, led the charge to make all abortion illegal, and google ...
