I broke my arm two days ago from a bad fall (which also required stitches on my chin). After a tiring journey through the hospital system, things have calmed down and I got reassured I don't need surgery.

Also coffee and cake.

I think Japan might be good for nerdy autistic guys. Various nerd culture things are very popular there like Anime, Nintendo, robots, J-pop, cosplay, & Japanese martial arts movies & weaponry :ninja: :nerdy: I guess it's good to live here if you're into that. Most women here are no more int...

There are quite a few people here in international/interracial/cross-cultural relationships (I'm one of them). It seems to occasionally work better than with someone from your local community, perhaps because there's a higher tolerance for social deviation. I've been approached neither less nor more...

I would say you simply got lucky. He could have just as likely said "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it?" then proceeded to brutalize (and possibly murder) the 2 of you. I suppose there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Had you paid for the bracelet (even though you didn't want to)...

The usual morning depression. Have had it for 12 years now, so kind of don't remember when I didn't feel this way. Hopefully it gets better around lunchtime.

If you don't fight back (which most, if not all, autistic men wouldn't fight back), you're not seen as a protector (which circles back to the initial point that was made on this thread: socially awkward men are not seen as protectors) My wife and I visited some touristy place and while I was off ta...

I started my new job last week and it went better than expected. (I expected the very worst.) I'm on floor 19 with a good view of the city, although I sit some distance from the window. We have a nice big project that's moving forward so hopefully in a few years I'll be able to share it with the wor...

I shall stop reading theory books when I am done university and focus on practical aspects for developing my career from prjoects to portfolios to the REAL WORL...

Yep. Age of consent is 15 where I lived. I think he was 19 and she was 16.

EDIT: Age gap was 3 years and a few months, for clarity.

My elder brother is a bit like that. When he graduated high school, he went to a party in town and grabbed a 3 year younger girl who was in a high school not far from his. They started dating, broke up a few years later, fooled around for some time with others, they got back together and married. He...

I wonder if resting heart rate has something to do with it. Mine is fairly low (usu. less than 60 sec). So perhaps low heart rate + good lung capacity is a good combo in this matter. The article said there was a risk of high blood pressure though from holding your breath too much, and last time I we...

4 minutes, 9 seconds as a teenager. I'm in my late 30s now and did 2 min 30 seconds right now rather comfortably. Tip: breathe in and out deeply a few times in advance, to add extra oxygen to your blood. Then, breathe out as deeply as you can to get rid of the "old air" at the bottom of yo...

A close person to me tattooed one of my drawings to his arm. It's a custom design he asked for, though. If I were in Boo's shoes I'd be a bit shocked.
