Yes that's my feeling too. Even older kids whom this is aimed at don't automatically adopt the message. If the message conflicts with their world view then they would check with a friend or parent for corroboration. Somehow I doubt parents who use a television as a babysitter would be a good place ...

Rather that looking outside yourself for fulfillment, why not look inward instead? You already have everything you need, and its all right there. Yes, life is meaningless, that's rather the point. Be who who are, do what you want, and enjoy what you can. If you can help others along the way? So much...

Nearly anything is possible, but that doesn't make it likely to happen. I've been in a house fire (my neighbor in an adjoining apartment was smoking and using Oxygen) and 4 units burned to the ground. Everyone made it out safely, including pets, but I did lose every material thing I owned except the...

Whether or not you choose to reveal an autism diagnosis, I wouldn't automatically expect anyone (autistic or not) to "know what to expect". Everyone is different. As for dropping your mask (or them theirs) I wouldn't expect that either. Especially early on in a relationship, let alone a fi...

Every 2 weeks I dump the contents of my box into the recycling bin. (its all advertising and "junk" mail). Nothing addressed to me specifically comes by post - and hasn't for years. The post box it more a nuisance than anything else.

It can take people in any type of group time to warm up and get to know each other. You'll probably find that in a lot of first-time meetings people will tend to be more shy/reserved until you get a chance to know people a bit better. I've tried a bunch of different groups and I usually don't have m...

The first smartphone I ever had would heat up for no reason every time it updated Facebook. I don't use Facebook. I try uninstalling it, but updates kept putting it back in. When it heat up, it was not enough to burn my hand, but just enough to make me think one of these days it would spontaneously...

I'm more wary of it being a blind affiliate link with posted no explanation or introduction. It looks like the author may be self-promoting it here.

I did look it up on Google but I just wanted to mention it here too, as it's interesting that all these autism symptoms seem typical behaviours in NT toddlers and it makes me not understand how some Aspies get diagnosed at like 2 or before even if they're developing well. The main reason they can g...

Ariprazole is an anti-psychotic, and yes it does carry all of those side-effects. Its use in Autism and Tourette's syndrome are off-label however. Most patients do experience mild side-effects, but those tend to lessen over time. Sometime's it works, sometimes it clearly does not - that's true of mo...

In order for that song to be offensive, you'd have to view trans-folks as unnatural first, so the group Standing for Women must think that - shame on them.
