Hiki is know around these parts. The main issue with it is that there aren’t enough people on it, and the high male-to-female diagnosis ratio of Autusm makes an Autustic-exclusive dating app a lot less practical (at least for straight Autistics) than most of us would like to admit. Not a problem if...

RE sports: perhaps the reason so many Autistics avoid them (both team and individual) is that we tend to have deficits in both gross and fine motor coordination to varying degrees.

I personally enjoy hiking and swimming more than sports and going to the gym.

Agreed that Zakatar shouldn't be looking in "bars and other vanity fairs." But, to be fair, Zakatar is talking about the situation of "average-looking, average-earning" autistic men, not "average-looking, average-earning" NT men, and he's talking specifically about the...

Hot Take: There is another side of this coin. Since most NT women won’t give us the time of day unless we’re at least a 9/10 on the looks scale (which the vast majority of us obviously aren’t), Autustic women need to become more open to dating Autistic men too. The amount of Autistic women I’ve met ...

Well cishets only seem to value body parts, not people, and it’s hard to meet non binary queer people like me… :alien: :king: Bit of an overgeneralization, don’t you think? As a cishet guy, not all of us only care about “body parts”. LGBTQ+ Autistics actually have it easier than straight Autistics ...

Okay my boyfriend and I have been together since 2016 and we are both have Aspergers. Neither of us had ever planned on dating another person with Aspergers and we both tried to have relationships with neurotypicals but it just never worked out for us since we would both always creep them out and c...

The one relationship I’ve had, which was earlier this year and lasted about a month and a half, was with an Autistic woman. It ended when she decided she liked women more than men. Definitely couldn’t date an NT, but it’s super hard to find Autistic women due to lack of infrastructure (doesn’t help ...

Most Neurotypicals dislike socially awkward people full stop. The solution is to find friends & a partner who is neurodiverse & understands  I wholeheartedly agree, but that is a lot easier said than done (especially if you’re straight!) due to the lack of neurodiverse community infr...

Wow. How is he not an Australian citizen if he was born in Australia? I don’t think it works the same way in Australia as it does in the USA. Hell, I’d probably have an easier time getting Australian passport than that family since my father is an Australian citizen, despite the fact that I’ve neve...

This is what happens after years of Thatcherism, and Austerity. With the proper funding, there would not be such long waits for NHS services.
