I can usually focuse quite well on mindless, repetitive tasks. And on more advanced things IF I'M INTERESTED.
It's the things in-between that I have problems with.

I only feel pain if it's sudden, like swallowing to much liquid or piercing myself with a needle. Or being left out socially or similar.
I've come to realize recently that the reason I basically don't have any sick leave isn't because I'm healthier than most, I just don't ralize that I'm ill.

I'm trying to get the docs to prescribe something to me that will work similar to alcohol, reducing anxiety, make me relax IDK. Alcohol helped me back in the day, but I'm on a bit of a roads end with it. It doesn't quite do what it did, and it's not healthy for me. I don't suffer from any illnesses ...

I have one that's a smidgen lighter than 10% of my BW.
It feels just like any blanket to me, I don't feel the weight at all.
I think I'd need one at least 20% of my BW to have it do anything for me.
Waste of money really.

Aardvarkgoodswimmer are you looking for suggestions of similar bands too? I like how their songs tell stories about folk lore and historical events. Most stuff like that tends to be more mellow. I like the music too, but I very much enjoy the epic journeys in the songs. The only thing I can think o...

Got it sorted by emailing everyone at my unit.
I didn't bother renewing my passport earlier due to the pandemic. One lesson learned, I guess.
Anyways, this thread wasn't meant to be about this specific event. It's more of an example of situations I sometimes get into.

It doesn't really hurt, and I'm not expecting (but hoping for) a yes. But it's frustrating. In this particular case, it's not a specific time or day, and it's not really burdensome. I'd offer to help instantaneously if someone asked a similar favor of me. And I'm not really comfortable asking people...

Background: My Driver's License expired a short while ago, but due to covid it's still valid as a Driver's License but not as an ID card. So I filled out the form to get a new card, but since I have no valid ID card I cannot pick it up. There are a couple of things I could do to resolve this, but th...

When I grew up there were no pizza, no kebab, and definitely no sushi or Thai food.
Heck, I even remember when the first McDonalds opened.
