Also, if I think I can manage something I usually do, but if I don't believe I can I usually fail.

My hearing is excellent, the doctors haven't been able to tell how good it is since I can hear everything they present to me. However, I have problems hearing what paople say if there's a background noice/others talking. I believe this is a common problem with autistics. I think it's affecting my me...

Not a genius. However I am pretty good at IQ tests, I usually score around 150. I am also fairly good at presenting complicated stuff with hand drawings, simplifying to a reasonable degree but getting the geist of it presented. I also have a, sometimes selective, excellent memory; I can remember the...

I am very keen of being right, so much so that I often change the prerequisites when I find myself in deep waters in an argument.
I realized this quite recently and am working on changing my behaviour.

No such tips, but a bit of experience:
I bought a 7 kg blanket, I've read that around 10% of body weight is recommended, but it's waay too light for me.
All it does it make it harder to make my bed, when I lay down underneath it I don't feel the weight at all.

When painting you really need to know what paint was used before, or scrape/sand it away.

All I can say is that I thought I was excellent at reading people until I a couple of years ago found out that I'm not.

You're probably right. I was thinking of it being a private hideout to begin with. The idea was that it would be easier to gather people if I had something to offer. It would also be easier, I believe, to find others if there was a natural meeting place. Anyways, I've ditched the idea. Too complicat...

Have you ever considered starting your own group devoted to some hobby of yours, e.g. via Meetup? No, I don't think Meetup is very popular here, but there may be other tools. I use a couple of internet forums, but it's hard to find 1. People who are really interested, 2. People who actually know st...

We do not need a new thread on the same topic; we need wiser posts from those already using this one. One discussion thread lists the minimum age of 35. The other discussion thread lists a minimum age of 45. People change between age 35 and age 45. Both threads have their places! I think I'm with F...

If I still had a full-time job-away-from-home, and if wanted to make friends with a longtime colleague, I certainly wouldn't invite them to visit me at home right away. I'd invite them to have dinner with me at a nearby restaurant right after work. And I'd probably invite a few longtime co-workers,...

I can't not wonder, why do people want to know of my interests!
If you want to know, I was obsessed with native Americans, later Ninjas and Samurais.
What stuck was rope-work, and general works with fabric, like weaving or knitting.

Um - maybe a "leave me alone I don't want to be in your group" group? Like a "nonconformists group" where everyone wears the same "nonconformist" tee-shirt And blue jeans. All nonconcofmists MUST wear blue jeans. That sounds great. It may seem strange, but I really lik...

Sorry, I meant no harm.
Damn I always get in these spots!
Just you seem to express yourself better usually.
Just hope you're ok.
Darn, I'm digging a bigger hole around myself aren't I?

Are you ok, Rexi?
Not trying to be that way, but your language is less comprehenable than it usually is.
