I have this fault, I stay objective, or mostly objective, at all times, including when angry or depressed. And I don't believe in anything that isn't a fact or at least a logical conclusion. I do agree that suffering outweighs happy moments for most living beings. And for those with a long history o...

When I experience period of "resistance" in the moment, when I supposed or consciously want to do something, but can't bring myself to start doing it, I do a short HIIT workout or breathing exercises. It works every time. Could you elaborate on that a bit more please? I do struggle too, l...

Very sad... you were just yourself, you acted out your own emotions. And it turned out that you were wrong, and everyone including yourself knows it. And you know that being you is bad. I can't imagine a sadder situation. I am so so sorry. I think, many of us, trying to drag through this life, share...

I do dumb down myself a lot in conversations. Thing is, NTs prefer to communicate with emotions rather than intellect. They dont want to exchange knowledge. They exchange something else.

There is no right or wrong way. These are just different ways and we are unfortunate to be the minority.

Thanks for sharing! I can imagine how it feels, to read something like that.

I wish it also mentioned that you seem to be a brave and honest person.

I have Pathological Routine Avoidance*. How much does that overlap with PDA?

I am not religious but I agree that prayer might work. Someone else mentioned distracting yourself as method to avoid a panic attack. Prayer is a form of distracting yourself. I also used distraction to prevent oncoming panic attacks. But I did it by focusing on boring inanimate objects and thinking...

I DID imagine her puking her actual brains out... and then I thought - but you said, it wasn't a brain issue. And then I thought - o...

I think you are afraid of true honest intimacy. And also that it is exactly what you really need, but have never really had. It's possible... and if so, I need to figure out why Why? Because it hurts. and how to resolve the agony that I've encountered and continue to endure.. Nah agony just builds ...

I mean, once you wake up, you know that the nightmare wasn't real, so it's not surprising that you'd rather fall back asleep if you're still tired, no ? But nightmare are oddly comforting, no matter how terrifying they are you'll always wake up safe and unharmed, nothing that happens in nightmares ...

How do you draw these diagrams?
I might want to try...
Can you provide examples?

Since it's a thing to talk about dreams now, here's my 2 cents. When I have bad dreams and then I wake up in the morning and still remember those bad dreams, I rather fall back to sleep and continue with them than wake up. Unless I have to get up for work of course. Anyone else experiencing somethin...

Haha.... that's so cool. I know I'm not dreaming remembering the previous dream cause I am not completely unconscious yet. It starts before I am completely asleep, just remembering the previous dream as I fall asleep. But do you also remember those dreams during the day? Or do they only come to you...
