Aren't they good! Which is your favourite? I didn't like some of his later work though e.g. Bad Education. WTF was that about.

I don't get why my girlfriend sometimes tells me to decide things only to immediately reject everything I suggest :tired: Oh I know the answer to that! It's because she already knows what she wants to do, she just wants you to confirm it. But obviously you aren't a mind reader and don't know what s...

I *used* to get on with NTs or people in general, I was perceived as 'that quirky, wacky girl'. I think it's just living in this crap village where everyone seems to be interrelated and anyone 'new' is excluded. Maybe it's circumstances, I dunno. I know I go on about that a lot but hopefully we can ...

I could take 3 days of being hungry more than I could take 3 seconds of being thirsty. My mother always thought I was diabetic but all the tests always came back negative. I couldn't, I need both BUT I am desperately thirsty most of the time. Like you I've had the fasting blood test but it came bac...

'Doing weird things' is just too vague. I know you're trying to explain but those things he did don't apply to me. I never said anyone is anything. I just said when people do weird things i t becomes harder to get on in the neurotypical world. I gave examples of things I experienced that were weird...

Autistic ppl generally have a "childlike" quality to them. https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=285633#p6615989 Most of us have age "dysphoria", for want of a better term, myself included. I read this has something to do with a section of the brain not developing the w...

I enjoyed Subway many years ago. It stars Christophe Lambert, I think it was in French and he played a thief.

Yes, I can't keep up with all the ever changing slang...e.g. apparently 'mascara' means 'relationship' or 'boyfriend' now. WTF. I think I'll make up my own slang  Oh dear https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.popbuzz.com/internet/viral/tiktok-mascara-meaning-explained/ "One thing about TikTok:...

I don't know. I always assumed I had blood sugar problems, unable to keep the level stable and needed regular feeding. Apparently my dad was the same, but he died 40 years ago so I don't know if that's true.

On the other hand, I think some people (NT or autistic, any type) just don't know how to communicate. One time I emailed the receptionist of the college I'd just taken a course at. In the email I asked if I could come and fetch my portfolio of work and where would it be? I gave the name of my course...

Therefore all aspies are weird.

It’s what’s known as a false syllogism. Flawed logic.

Seems that way. I really hate the word 'weird'. What does it even mean? What is defined as weird and what isn't?
