I first heard the following song ('Hydrochloric' by Funkacidic) on an old acid house compilation. Years later I heard a similar (presumably older) song playing in a shop. Does anyone know what that older song might have been? In other words, does anyone know which song this 'Hydrochloric' song is ba...

So a friend of a friend told me he was searching for torrents online. He told me that obscure items often have only one seed listed, whereas the most popular items might have around 100 seeds. The order my DVD player displays the files in seems to be the date order the files we saved or modified, with the oldest files displayed first. With the descriptions thing, I am not expecting my DVD player to figure anything out for itself. I just wondered if I could get the DVD player to display th...

Joe90, if your books are autobiographical, then you might be interested in contacting the Jessica Kingsley publishing house (https://uk.jkp.com/). They are based in the UK, and they specialise in books about autism and neurodiversity. I know of several people on the spectrum who have published autob...

Why not simply organize the files the way you prefer on your PC? Directories, folders, and sub-folders can be sorted and/or viewed by filename, filetype, date, or any other metadata. The indexing is done by the OS automatically. Its what file manager/File Explorer/ Finder (Depending on the OS) are ...

I have lots of mp4 video files on an external SSD hard drive. Often I will plug the hard drive into my DVD player's USB port and watch mp4s on my TV. I prefer to do this than to watch mp4s on my laptop (or to connect my laptop to my TV with an HDMI cable) since, for one thing, when I watch mp4s thro...

I use the free Calibre software package to organize my e-books. I've recently started using it to organize other files I've saved on my laptop, because I really like the layout. I like the way you can scroll down your list of books (or files) in the middle of the screen, and for each book (or file) ...
