The thing is I always make sure I'm healthy and eat the right food even though I have the occasional treats and I'...

I've had several speech therapists, partly for enunciation and partly for mutism. Some speech therapists will refer you to Psychology and consider it a stress disorder. The psychologists will refer you to OT or SLP and consider it neurological. My last SLP got me speaking, then put her hand in my f...

I have to bridle my temper because it's easy for me to lash out and instead of people hearing my side, they will gaslight me as too sensitive and deflect the narrative. It all comes down to the fact that i'm surrounded by enablers who will keep their heads down and keep the "peace" at my e...

So being able to identify as neurodivergent has provided an umbrella for my unofficial ASD and newly discovered AD(H)D. I"m seeing more and more how little it matters that i PROVE myself to people. I am, however, interested in gaining knowledge and as much help in life as possible. i'm not the ...

I like trains as an adult. I probably would have if I road one as a kid. Mom drove everywhere. When I started traveling for studio work, I fell in love with trains and trolleys because they were for the most part, on time. Its that routine that gets me. Its dependable

Hello, If you feel that being assessed for ADHD would help then make an appointment with your GP. As someone who is waiting to enter being assessed herself it doesn't hurt to raise this question. I'll tell you about the symptoms that are present for me - - I have trouble organising and cleaning. Th...
