I think it's a matter of common record that Camilla was viewed with some suspicion outside the family (mostly by the tabloid press), and the comparisons between her and Diana were made. She worked to improve that situation - as might be expected. It's not unreasonable.\ If an adulteress can become ...

My daughter hasn't engaged in any therapy, but I do know the primary tool she uses: multi-tasking. She concentrates better when she is doing two things at once, like doodling when listening to a lecture, or playing music when she is doing homework. One kind of has to find the balance for themselves....

Hierarchy of problematic behavior, per a conservative legal analysis podcast I follow: Most problematic: Trump. Repeated requests for the documents intentionally ignored, including a clear false statement on their existence. Medium problematic: Biden. Documents initially found by accident, followed ...

I realize the discussion has basically moved onto to a different point, but the thread title had me looking up the lyrics. Glad they were being sarcastic, because the consistent use of "feel like" leaves basically anyone in the world who wants to relate to the song, able to do so. Pretty b...

In all these discussions, as my favorite legal podcast pointed out, the correct verbiage is "marked as classified," given that there is no way to know without further review if the document actually IS classified. Documents are declassified all the time. Hopefully few of the documents foun...

It’s one thing to express a negative opinion of a public figure, and entirely another to fabricate things about them or to threaten them. Pretty sure you’re still not allowed to do those things within legal boundaries of speech. Slander is a civil issue. The legal remedy would be financial damages,...

lolol I've never even seen the troth sensial website, but it keeps getting mentioned in various news clips reporting on the crap trump spews on it from his keyboard, which often includes defamatory or threatening statements towards special counsel Jack Smith and/or his colleagues & family etc e...

My younger adult child has ADHD and anxiety. The ADHD was something her 3rd grade teacher picked up on; the anxiety was not diagnosed until she burned out as a junior in high school. She suffered immensely from stomach aches as a child. I personally believe it is all related, yes. We did not take my...

I'm a strong adherent of the "make life as easy as possible for yourself" camp, so if your 3 year old is happy in daycare and the day runs more smoothly for you, and you can solve your issue by sending him more days, I say go with it. Each battle you don't have to fight is a load of stress...

I have a son between 20 and 30 so the trend is of interest to me. I just finished reading another article on the increase in heart attacks. Apparently they've been increasing at a steady pace since the early 2000's. When I look at the theories for why, it is easy for me to see how just the existence...

The legal system has a defined way of evaluating what is factual, what is provable, what has merit. It says a lot that time and time again the legal system - despite the personal politics of the lawyers and judges - rules against Trump's claims and tries to call him out on his use of the judicial sy...

Re: Trump's taxes: Trump lost heaps, and if you understand the tax system, as I do, you will know that you can claim your losses against your income, hence the little amount of tax he has paid recently. Oh what fun, a non-tax professional who most likely has never filed a US income tax return or re...

She governed during an extremely difficult time and did relatively well compared to many other countries. It probably took decades off her life expectancy, so I rather respect that she isn't so power hungry to insist on holding on. Sorry to hear she offended, though. Those are details that hadn't co...

Both Trump and Biden have at least some corruption to them. Trump wants to be a dictator. Biden is content with keeping to the Constitution. Personally, I don’t want to live under a dictatorship. We disagree. I hardly knew I had a President when Trump was in office. I worked, I earned my own way, I...
