I was anything but insensitive to pain as a kid, no wonder I was never diagnosed until adulthood. From these so-called studies you'd think we actually had feelings and emotions like most other people and that dehumanizing us is somehow wrong.

^Why does every topic on this site get turned into "I don't/no longer have a partner so my life has no meaning"?

What I find strange is that there are so many birds in it. Were live birds once a common Christmas present?

Whatever, it's just a song.

A cannibal complains, "God, I hate my mother in law!"
His wife, also a cannibal, says "Then just eat the noodles!"

A man was trying to sell a dog to a neighbor. "The dog can actually talk, and you can have him for only five dollars." the man said. "Ridiculous." said the neighbor says. "Everyone knows dogs can't talk!" The dog looks up at the neighbor with big, sad tearful eyes, and ...

All berries are fruit, but not all fruit are berries. Or maybe they are. A fruit is basically the "seed container" of a plant. Vegetables are usually the part of a plant that's eaten, like the roots or leaves. Peas and beans are actually seeds in containers but they're normally called a ve...

I found the skeletal remains of a mouse next to my oven. It must have been dead for a really long time, because it had no fur or skin left, it was just a skeleton. its limbs and tail were still fully intact, only the head was missing. My cat must have dug it out from the space between the oven and t...

I was in my mid-20s and still living in a home in 1999. I was having a really bad time with insomnia, which I thought may be due to Y2K anxiety, but it continued long afterwards. Everything was Y2K this, Y2K that, and looking back at it now it was pretty stupid compared to the billion and on threats...

Being fired because you don't want to be a part of the western world's pea-brained hypersexed, overextroverted, alcohol worshiping culture is really stupid. I'm glad he won. I'll never understand why if you don't drink alcohol people think you're a gigantic freak. But drink some pop and they're like...

I looked up Wombles on Wiki. I thought they were hedgehogs or something, but they're fictional creatures. i was surprised to learn they're almost human sized, I thought they were the size of hedgehogs or cats. They take rubbish left by humans and recycle it into useful things. They live all over the...

I don't get why people can't spell "losing" properly. Instead they're always spelling it "loosing". I guess they're too lazy to bother spelling it correctly, or they're poorly educated. I worry that if I make just one spelling error while online, I'll end up paying for it with my...

We just call them rubber boots here in Canada, and I haven't worn them in forever. All I have are a pair of sneakers and a pair of winter boots. Boots are a pain to put on and remove, so I usually only wear them when it's really snowy or wet outside.

My whole life was nearly destroyed only a few days before Christmas when I was practically left to die alone in the hospital, and it wouldn't be until after the New Year that I'd be finally diagnosed with Asperger's. I became so depressed about the holidays afterwards I changed the labels on my boxe...
