I don't buy the last two paragraphs. War is extremely bad for natural environment. Humans show a reliable pattern of reproducing less in comfortable stability and reproducing more after wars and big disasters. To reduce human population, doing nothing and letting people choose not to have children ...

Then the US would be at war with russia and that’s what they’re trying to officially avoid by just providing aid to Ukraine to fight their war.. if other countries start shopping, now it’s WW3. "Shopping"? Of course we're shopping for military equipment, how not to in this place of the wo...

Working in film might actually attract a lot of aspies. Chatted with a lead carpenter for an HBO show and he said the quality of people tends to be lower in film, more thieves, fewer family men as the hours are longer - 10-12+ hours/day so a lot of family oriented types won’t do it. Got me thinking ...

Hmm - kid didn’t know that I’m his and his sister’s and cousin’s Godfather until I brought it up in a chat the other day. I guess it’s never been a relevant thing for his grandparents to bring up ever. Still waiting on him to decide when he’s had enough of living there and make a phone call and some...

But if they went public with the bounty then there would be more people trying to collect on it, if they knew about it. Wanted dead posters don't do near as much good, if you don't put up the posters. If everyone knew they could become a multi-millionaire by ending Putin and new where and how to co...

All the tanks being sent to the Ukraine...there's a big problem with that. It takes a very long time to train troops to use them effectively. I don't whether it's possible for Ukraine to to win this war now. Let's face it, it's now a proxy war between the U.S./Nato and Russia. It's a dangerous situ...

Roast beef mmmmmm needs horseradish.

Don’t have any or I would have for sure.

Added jalapeño havarti, though. Was a super thick sandwich - proper Dagwood thickness.

Just put some toast down to make a roast beef & tomato sandwich. Might add a bit of lettuce, maaaybe even a slice of cheese even though I rarely eat it. Mostly just using up the roast that no one else seems to be eating & the tomato I started slicing yesterday. No sense in letting anything g...

That makes sense and those are good points. But why isn't there a bounty out on Putin. Rich people give to the Ukraine, like Elon Musk for example, but would the money be better spent on a bount on Putin? Who says there isn’t a bounty on putin? :? You think a bounty to assassinate a world leader is...

Another thing is, Putin invaded Ukraine because he said it was because he wanted to stop Ukraine from joining NATO. If this is the case, what if NATO were to put out a statement saying they decided to reject Ukraine joining them... That way Ukraine doesn't join NATO, and Putin could then back off s...

^a local friend of mine with $50 leftover after paying rent went to bed hungry last night. I told him he needs to prioritize buying a bag of rice, carton of eggs, canned tuna, bread and peanut butter with that $50 instead of weed/nicotine vape. Been telling him that since he was 18 5 years ago, but ...

Cliffs: russia can’t afford to pay for prolonged war. The $ they made selling oil/gas last year isn’t coming this year and bills are piling up. putin is expected to launch some kind of major offensive strike by Spring in an attempt to end the war on his terms with a win. Ukraine is preparing to defe...

It’s just not within my expertise….certainly very useful skills, though—especially if you get a “fixer-upper.” I’d be one of those who look “retarded” doing this….until I learn through much repetition. Almost everyone falls in that category. Few people can pick up the tools and use them properly an...
