There's probably a little less stigma attached to a woman living with parents than there is when a man lives with his parents. Though the stigma, in general, for both sexes, has gotten less over the years. Why not try dating? Of course, it's easier when you get your own place. Good luck on your new ...

He had to beat it out of there----no matter the other guy's intentions.

I know these sorts of gas stations well out in the middle of corn fields....

I accept moods-----but I expect to be treated decently at all times, regardless of "mood." I don't have much patience for people seeking to abuse me because they're in a "bad mood." That's BS! Sometimes, I've let it happen. I let people abuse me when they're in a "bad mood.&...

"Autism discovered me." I was diagnosed with it in the 1960s, when I was a preschooler. This was when the "only" autism was severe, non-verbal autism. I was non-verbal at the time of diagnosis. I became verbal the summer of 1966, age 5 1/2. I knew another autistic kid very well g...

Unless they've taken a civil service test, they won't get as much rights as those who were fired because of refusing the vaccine. The City of Portland is probably glad of the opportunity to get rid of some long-term civil servants with a vast amount of rights.

I'm glad you got out of there!

The guy seemed like he was unstable. He might have thought you were someone else--in his drunk/high state. Who knows?

You did the right thing being skeptical.

The guy just has to learn to treat you decently, and with respect.

That's my feeling about it.

You've been best friends for years. He's the one who's acting like a jerk.

I wouldn't hire someone based merely upon an IQ score. Come to think of it, the IQ score wouldn't enter, at all, into a candidate's suitability.

I'm hoping for the best possible result for you.

I had successful surgery for prostate cancer recently. I am cured.

My mother is going to have noninvasive surgery for lung cancer next week. She got lucky in that it was Stage 1.

It was done because, supposedly, circumcision prevented penile cancer. It was also supposed to prevent other sorts of infections around the penis.

It had nothing to do with Jewishness.

I feel like someone is stupid if they lose a civil service position over something like vaccines.

This is a public health issue, not a political issue.

it's not fascistic to demand that people take a vaccine that will help stifle the Pandemic once and for all.

I feel like whether he's an Aspie or not is irrelevant, frankly.

He seems to feel the same way. He knows he is Anthony Hopkins, diagnosis or no diagnosis.

No way. IQ does not measure intelligence properly.

It certainly doesn't measure anybody's suitability for working hard.

I stand corrected. It was only done to about 20-25% of babies in the UK in the 1960s. Even less in other European countries.

It was done to about 90% of babies in the early 1960s in the US.

When Jimmy Carter talked about a "crisis of confidence" within the psyche of the American people, he lost himself the election of 1980, and the esteem of many. He gained back considerable credibility through his works after his Presidency. It was rather like William Howard Taft, in a way. ...
