@GiantHockeyFan and jvonhegner Thanks for the advice. I almost always have second thoughts about ending things when I'm with her as she's perfectly fine when I'm actually spending time with her, but she gets really needy when I'm not with her. Recently she has taken to getting quite insecure when I...

I also mostly agree with the article. I do want to add another caveat though; the fact that i (and many others) am high-functioning adds another layer to the issues. I appear "normal" most of the time, i appear to make eyecontact, i am not visibly bothered by sounds and light, i join in w...

Previously we've met in the afternoon and some people tended to stick around till the evening, but I'm not sure about this time as we've got the museum to fit in and apparently it gets very busy in the afternoon. Do you work in London? We'll try and accommodate you. The short meet ups 0_equals_true ...

Given the problems with the dates, I think we should a meet up on 18th June (if enough people are free?) and another in July/early August for people not free in June. Otherwise we'll spend all the time messaging about meet up dates without actually meeting up! I haven't been helping though by not ch...

I've just read this thread so I only have a glimpse of what your girlfriend is like, and I'm not a psychologist so please take this suggestion with a lot of salt, but I wonder if it might be worth you reading about borderline personality disorder to see if your girlfriend fits the bill? It's a very ...

I guess that pushes us into July - unless people are free this Saturday, 4th June?

What dates in July can people do? I think my calender's free at the moment in July.

I can't do the 11th but how about Saturday 25th June? Perhaps we can talk about short meets when we meet up - when/where works for people. Or we can arrange a regular meetup maybe? eg the third saturday of every month or something. But let's sort out this meet up first! Is there anyone who wants to ...

...Or is the museum/park idea not appealing to people?

If not, feel free to suggest alternatives!

Just been to London for the first time in ages to visit some museums and see some gigs. I forgot how interesting a city it is. I am eager to return, so I'm up for a museum London meet soon. Just waiting to hear back from Kate. I have a recommendation that might interest most because it's unique: Th...

I tried watching it but I couldn't hear it either - it's loud enough but the sound is indistinct. It sounds muffled/echoed. I don't hear very well in normal circumstances. But well done for doing the presentation!

Are there any museums you want to go to that are near a park or an outdoors area? I hate to waste nice weather :-)
