I attend 3 support groups month. A wide variety of people and traits and ASD knowledge. They are different from wrong planet. Wrong Planet posters for the most part compare traits and rant. Comparing traits has value for validation and discovery of traits the scientists in formal settings might miss... |

Congratulations. I certainly remember the unprecedented strong emotions I experienced when I got it official. Something I will never forget. |

I did read the whole article and did read that there are many parents who think they are doing right thing . If history repeats it itself as it has time and time again the order to stop shocking people will be a temporary "victory". There has been many times over the last 30 years when it seemed the... |

This may get me flamed but it has been what I have observed, the women are much more flat chested. Combined that with the other effe... |

Some aspects of AS are legitimately debilitating in important ways. But many of our problems are a result of being a small minority thus not understood or feared by the majority. Enhancing the problems are that many of our difficulties are invisible and we are different in the area the majority plac... |

You definitely need to know how to work well with a group as a lot of higher paying professional jobs are very collaborative and team oriented. This is probably far more important than the skills needed for the job itself. To get, keep, and grow in your job today I agree. For the long term overall g... |

If somebody said lets make an event that is as uncomfortable and stressful for people on the spectrum as possible they would have invented the holiday season. Every sensory over stimulation ingredient possible Noise, lights and lots of people, many of whom you do not see often. |

Low to average IQ for type 2, only a perceived genius compared to an actual genius for type 1 and mostly female? Anyone else notice that? Or is it just me? I am in the category that is not in the 'mostly' part. Had an IQ of 140 + in my teens (no idea what it is now, not measured it properly in year... |

For 30 years lawyers, governments, numerous journalists, disability organisations have tried to shut this torture chamber down and have been utterly squashed by these master manipulators. Some here have said they lack information. This has been posted before and is a... |
