I'm a Jamaican music devotee however there is a cut off point for me, I like my styles truly 'roots' and don't listen to much from after about 1973. the exception being a bit of a thing for the On-U-Sound stable circa late '80's through to mid '90's. So, no videos for my picks but I would encourage ...

I too had similar experiences and as the only boy child bore the brunt of my mothers rages in particular. I was also groomed and sexually abused just before I turned 14 by someone who took advantage of this situation, I was out of home and a streetkid at 15 and also rejected by most people because o...

I am apparently a 'bit of a clean freak'. I however disagree, yes I like my environment to be basically clean and tidy but that is so I can function, I achieve this through having a rigorous routine. Monday mornings I wash bedding and any clothes and towels that need it and then hoover the carpets a...

I have been formally diagnosed moderate AS and ADHD as well as probable dysthemia [a depressive disorder], I take methylphenadate [Ritalin] for the ADHD and it is fairly helpful with the bonus that it tempers some aspects of the AS, particularly my tendency to overload in public places due to over-s...

I have no opinion and suspect all theories and propositions, anything is possible.

I support the motion to 'leave our cows alone' and suggest we lead by example.

Peter Kropotkin. At some point between his return to Russia[USSR] and his death but while absolutely lucid. My reasoning is that I would like to discuss his theories and compare notes concerning the world today, this would of course require his believing my story of time travel and understand the wo...

welcome to the disfunction family  By the way you are not 'crazy' just because you are an aspie however being an aspie can drive you crazy for a myriad of reasons. I had a late life diagnosis and it has been a mixed blessing, on one hand I understand myself better and why I have failed for the ...

I once recorded a nice old storm in an old tin hut in the mountains for use as an ambient layer on my radio show but it was too noisy to use successfully which was a bit disappointing.

Being 'fashionable' has never been of interest to me however culture and style is. As for the sheep who dress like the 80's because it is 'back' well really how bad can things be? I admit that this century has little to offer by way of the new and interesting but the 80's? come on it was the worst d...

I have lived without the need for supplements for almost 30 years and would just kind of prefer to stay that way. As for the L-Tryptophan I can't source it here and have only a modest interest as a replacement for what is quite a heavy chemical [methylphenidate which is a phenyltryptamine after all]...

I have a neighbour in my building who thinks my name is Steve, I corrected him once but he is somewhat odd and with regard myself generally well intentioned so now I just let it slide now though to be fair he mainly addresses me now as 'bro' [a local polynesian thing]
