I don't know what to say other than I get that the isolation can feel impossible to deal with at times :( Even if you were NT, I'm sure you would have other problems. NTs aren't flawless either and have things they struggle with too. When I feel like this I try to remember that even if there's a lot...

Trying to set things up so I can view my medical records from childhood to see if any of my behaviours (rocking etc.) were brought up when I was very young to help with evidence for potentially getting assessed (or I'm semi-hoping that I was diagnosed and just have no idea about it, so then I don't ...

Similar stuff happens to me a lot. I don't get it either. There's even people I used to be friends with, best friends, then suddenly they stop talking to me. It sucks. Idk what I'm doing wrong, because I'm usually super enthusiastic and interested in whatever we're talking about. I guess people jus...

Experienced the same thing, although I wouldn't say most people hate me (I think that might be too strong a word). It feels like I must give off some sort of signal somehow that is just enough for other people to recognise that I'm different in some way. Most people don't like different, so they don...

I'm really not sure, but for me I'm not able to do that at all, I find it too overwhelming to have so many windows and tabs open and I easily get lost. I actively close things when I'm not using them... usually only have 2 or 3 open at a time.

I normally don't like these tests but apparently I'm a 5 and reading the description is scarily accurate. :\

Mostly talking about work since it's the only place I meet and talk to people... Seems to be a reoccurring thing where I have what seems (to me anyway) a positive social interaction but then afterwards... I'm not too sure what happens? I don't know if I get ghosted or not. An example of what happene...

Pokemon Shining Pearl. ^^ Taking my time with it and having a lot of fun. It's been a long time since I played the original Gen 4 games so I don't really remember a lot of it.

I'd give it a 7. Really hard childhood (abusive home, seeing violence, lots of bullying, self harm, being different without knowing why), frustrating early adulthood because I don't really belong anywhere or feel like I fit in at any workplace... things have gotten easier for me after learning about...

Almost always: writing! Typing. Texting. And the like. It is so smooth and flows so much easier! When I talk, I often draw many blanks. I get scared. Anxious. Freeze up. And feel overstimulated and awkward. And probably other feelings. So do some of my ASD friends. We are all very, very different. ...

I know this was from a long time ago but I'm also looking to book with her for my assessment. I've been kinda on the fence about getting diagnosed for a long time but I feel like I can't stop thinking about whether this is all just in my head or not... I feel like I need the official confirmation fr...

It depends really. If you are completely new to coding in general then I'd say an hour a day is good to start out with so you don't overwhelm yourself. If you are already familiar with other types of coding then I'd say you could spend more time. I'd also suggest that just following tutorials and co...

Mostly movement, I'm not very good at sitting still. If I'm not moving my legs sometimes I pick at my knuckles (with a finger horizontal, pull the skin on my knuckle up, then press the skin back down again...repeat over and over). In private I will rock whilst listening to music.
