Nope, I usually can't sit or stand still either, always moving my legs. Unless I'm really concentrating on something. I find I stim mostly when I am idle and have nothing else to do, but I'm mostly unaware that I am stimming until someone points it out. If I am very anxious or unhappy then I won't s...

Focus on addressing fundamental needs of your body/brain, make sure you get enough direct sunlight, fresh air, exercise (especially higher intensity) every day, that your food is healthy, doesn't induce chronic inflammation and glucose spikes. It will improve your mental strength, your performance ...

Using a real-life RPG app. I've tried a few, currently using Habitica, and it makes a big difference. Oh, this looks really interesting. I'll have to check it out, I think it might help me with work. :) For every day things, it's all just simplified... eating the same meals every week so I don't ha...

It might help to know what sort of work it is you do. I work with data across multiple video games so that game designers can balance them etc. The current project is an unreleased game and we are setting up all the backend and reports from scratch but the team we are working with hasn't set up met...

I don't see what's wrong with it, but I don't go to pubs... I'm not so familiar with the social norms. But then these change all the time so what might be considered weird now might be considered normal in future.

If you are happy doing it, then there's nothing wrong with it. :)

That's very possible, especially if you're a masking type. Is there something that helps you regain sanity? A long walk in nature or something? Yeah, a walk sounds good, or music usually helps. At the meeting I wasn't able to speak at all :( But I can stlll type so explained everything to my manage...

Thanks magz. Actually my company should be pretty good about this... which is one of the reasons I haven't just gone elsewhere. I guess I've been good at hiding how much of a mess I am, even more so working from home, so they don't realise how bad it is for me.

I'm really not fine at all :( I'm supposed to be in a meeting in a minute but I can't stop crying and my Teams keeps dinging over and over with loads of notifications and people trying to contact me but I just can't even process anything.

I work at I guess what would have been a dream company for me... dream job, not so much, I don't particularly enjoy the work. It was somewhat manageable before and there were a lot of tasks that were semi-repetitive so it has been fairly easy up until now to just kinda coast along. The last year or ...

I feel like I'm more sensitive to sounds and smells than I used to be, but I think it's more that my tolerance has just plummeted as I've gotten older. I used to be better at just putting up with things but as I've gotten older this part has definitely gotten worse. I just don't want to put the effo...

I was aware that I was "different" to a slight degree as a little kid. I became a lot more self aware overall when I got near puberty. Now I have social anxiety from being too self aware and self conscious. I don't even have to write anything, 'cause you already wrote my post for me. :P T...

Thanks Weirdmetronome The "Tony Atwood - Girls Aspergers" video was great for me. I just finished my 3rd viewing! And I can now understand how so many of the confusing descriptions I've gotten of "me" came about. They were correct. I just never got it. A couple of more viewings ...
