I'm not much of a fan of T-Pain but he's consistently demonstrated he can sing without autotune, as much as he's also very much known for heavy autotune use. Yes, when I found out that Picasso was perfectly able to draw and paint realistically, my respect for him went up a bit. It's hard sometimes ... |

Anxiety spoils a lot for me, but I suppose I've learned to live with it because it's hardly ever so strong as to be seriously debilitating. It mostly happens when I've got something important and difficult to do and time is short. I'm fairly calm otherwise. There's always a logical reason why I get ... |

I didn't need to take another test for this because I did the Political Compass test years ago which said I'm mostly a left-wing libertarian, and that fits fairly well with how I see myself. I do sometimes think it might be better if a truly left-wing government started using force to implement soci... |

Similar here, though I've begun to do better in relationships. I've bought several houses and didn't find it that hard (though there's a lot to do) because the estate agents and my solicitor were helpful. I've only sold one, and that was a done deal with the neighbour so it didn't take much effort. ... |

The origin of the quote is biblical (John 8:32), and refers to the notion that if you "believe" and become a "disciple of Jesus" then you will learn "the truth" which will "liberate you from the bondage of sin." So it's not about telling the truth, it's about ... |

I really don't think telling the truth at all times is a good idea. Sometimes people just don't deserve it. And there's a place for discretion with regard to the right time and place and the right person. Acquiring the truth may be a better idea, but even then it won't necessarily make you any happi... |

I have such an obscure taste in music and dancing to something I don’t like feels impossible. I've enjoyed loud, unsolicited music in some venues (not exactly "clubs"), as long as it doesn't go on for a long time and the music is something not too far away from my sense of taste. Sometime... |

"We are not forced into church! No: but we desire more than that. We desire not to be forced to stay away. We desire, nay, we are resolute, to enjoy the comfort of public worship, but we desire also that we may do so without an amount of tedium which ordinary human nature cannot endure with pat... |

"When one Esquimau meets another, do the two, as an invariable rule, ask after each other's health? is it inherent in all human nature to make this obliging inquiry? Never have, never will. I might have during the phase of my life when I was trying to prove my social strengths, but if so I might also have failed. They sound too noisy and crowded for me, and I know ways of being with people that are much more suitable to me. I suppose it's unusual for anybody my ... |

One thing is that I try not to make my home dirty in the first place, so that nightmare cleaning operations don't have to happen so often. I just do a little bit at a time, though I often get absorbed in it when I've made a start. I can't seem to start if I'm planning to do a lot. I often begin with... |

No meltdowns here. Not a lot of black-and-white thinking. Not that much rigid thinking. I have routines but they're often fairly flexible, especially if I know about changes in advance. It's been very rare that I'd have qualified as clinically depressed, and what anxiety I have isn't usually strong ... |

^ I don't see worry as an intelligent thing at all. Appropriate concern, that might be intelligent, but I see worry/anxiety as the uncomfortable by-product of concern that doesn't help the problem. Though it depends on definitions, and it could be that without the pain of anxiety to drive us towards... |

Certainly if I were to list the things that bother me in order of importance, anxiety would be at or very near the top. My anxieties are often rather out of proportion to the actual risk and/or (perhaps to a lesser degree) to the consequences of that risk being realised. But I don't know how it woul... |
