Sending you big hugs. I agree about alcohol. I don't like it at all. I can't find a hug emoji :flower:  Aw thanks, and thanks for not throwing the insensitive cliche of "leave him!" Yes his drinking is a problem but otherwise our relationship is perfect. I just wish he didn't drink... |

I might take a shower later, I'll be throwing up if I have a bath. I need to get a new body. Maybe I could get an android body? Where can I get that? Maybe a Terminator. |

So, day 1. I've basically sat in my chair indoors in the shade all day but still had to drink constant water and have a cold flannel on my neck. I've hardly eaten anything all day (a few cra.c.k.ers, toast, chicken, peas) because my tummy can't take food in boiling hot weather. I can't afford to los... |

I try to be polite, considerate and tactful. But I still get told I'm blunt, rude, 'very to the point' even when doing my very best to hold back and be tactful.
So to hell with it. I won't censor myself anymore. I'll just say what I think because they get offended whatever I say. |

It's also given the Tories a free hand to ignore human rights. The EU is a centre-left organisation. It was far from perfect but at least it helped to temper the right wing machinations of the UK government here and there. And I've not seen any benefit from leaving yet. The whole venture seems to b... |

They're trying their best in Britain. As well as disabled and old people. |

Immigrants and people of color. The shooters at the Wal-Mart in El Paso (2019) and the Tops Supermarket in Buffalo (2022) adhered to the "Great Replacement" theory. As far as persecution goes, some evangelicals believe that being kicked off Twitter or FB for posting derogatory remarks abo... |

Similar here with Ready Player One. I enjoyed the film but I have no idea about the book. |

They do that in Spain. Tower blocks of flats with plants growing in them and on them. They look gorgeous. |

Brexit? That self-harming farce still infuriates me, too. Hey - here's a good idea: let's sever all commercial ties with the massive trading bloc right on our doorstep - you know, the one we've been trading with for 40-odd years on a single unified set of rules and standards, and then demand that t... |

Sorry to get political but the UK does everything the wrong way then expect the general public to do something about global warming. They cut down trees and dig up land and build a thousand houses, and move shops from the high street to the sticks so you have to drive a car to get there - all encou... |

Why can't Americans see what's happening and vote for sensible people? But maybe they don't care. I've seen some of them saying that all schools should have one entrance guarded all day by an armed guard. What about fire exits? Is the guard sitting holding his gun all day without needing food or to... |

The 2022 version of Persuasion by Jane Austen.
Erm...trying too hard to be edgy IMO. Stop talking to the camera and get on with the story! |

Yes, they are completely ignoring the heatwave aren't they and pushing a non renewable energy strategy. As well as all their other nonsense.

It makes one think if our modern ways are limiting our chances of survival in the difficult situations? Ask yourself this. Where is your nearest source of clean accessable drinking water if water did not come out of your taps? If the gas and electricity supplies were cut off, how would you heat you... |
