I find watching sports is about as interesting as watching paint dry. I do, however find it some what humorous how sports casters try to turn the inconsequential into life and death matters. comedy team bob and ray [many decades ago] did a funny routine where they did a "play by play" running comme...

So a young good looking rich superstar had a few affairs? So what? How is that our business? If he was a rock star or a Hollywood actor you would EXPECT it so why is it so bad for him? Do you care if some Rodeo rider or Nascar driver sleeps around? So who said a champion golfer must be pure as the ...

I sometimes can't talk to people if an interesting song comes on because I have to stop talking and dissect the song in my head. I'm also a fountain of useless facts about bands and artists and can't help but point things out all the time when it comes up in conversation or on TV, the radio, etc. I...

My official IQ is 111. But I didn't know that until after I was diagnosed with AS as and adult. Before that, I took an online IQ test and scored around 140. I thought that's great. I worked on the test for like two hours and realized it was a timed test and I had gone way over the time limit  ...

note- when somebody of the fairer sex says one is "nice," that generally is a code word for "creepy" [i'm NOT saying that's what you are] - iow they may feel the "nice" guy is strange, different, abnormal, "dweebish" - someone to keep at arm's length. in the absense of actual mindreading ability on ...

Uuh.. I hope this will make sense.;;;; From what I've read, a lot of people here (not all, but lots) have more simple and straight-forward thoughts and feelings than lots of NTs. I think it's the kind of thing that doctors call developmental delay, and it's what makes some of us seem like children ...

So, if my interests are pro audio, photography, and computer stuff, but extremely mainly pro audio, would that part of AS be incorrect? I do have strange speech issues, like remembering how words sound or just forgetting the correct word flat out? Everything else though is still flat out Aspie. don...

I am Australian so I don't really know the exact state of politics in the US but this is something I have observed a fair bit- the Barack Obama bashing, hate or w/e you want to call it. From what I gather a lot of people are unhappy with the progress he has made however it seems like those people a...

I don't need an afterlife. If I manage to live long enough to get old, I'm sure I'll be more or less sick of it by the time I'm done with it anyway. you have a northern european toughness of mind that i lack. i could not survive without heaven. my life would collapse in around me. they say each of ...
