Being a gorgon like Medusa might be kind of awesome because no one will force you to make eye contact with them. Unless they wanted to be turned to stone.

Grocery shopping at Walmart. Every time I buy groceries I feel like garbage when I leave and it's getting worse every week. The past few weeks I've gone half the shelves are empty and I'm wondering if panic buying has come back or there's yet another shortage, or both? I get it, I'm a worthless pers...

Because they want to create a work of art that others can admire and enjoy. Or at least they used to.

I'm Canadian and I've only used store bought ranch dressing, so I wouldn't know.

I've found mixing ranch dressing with bbq sauce to be really good.

The price of chips went up at Walmart from $7 for 3 bags to $10 for 3 bags. Maybe it's to discourage people from eating junk food, but I really don't know. My mom went to the hospital to have her wrist looked at after her fall the other day, and she has two broken bones and she has to wear a cast. I...

Not all desserts are hot. I heard Antarctica is a desert. And deserts that are very hot during the day cool off quite a bit at night. That's why lions sleep most of the day until it gets dark.

Desserts can be hot or cold, but they're always cool. :D

I hardly slept and my back hurts. I go on the computer and the news feed has a list of instructions on what to do in a nuclear attack that sounds as ridiculous as it did in the 60s when they said to just cover yourself with a picnic blanket and then run home to your parents. I know what to do, probl...

The way NTs go on you'd think it was Japanophillia.
Although I did have a somewhat secret interest in anime years before it became totally mainsteam and the fandom totally ruined it.

I want to die the same way my great uncle did, which was peacefully in his sleep.
Too bad the same couldn't be said for the other people in his car.

My mom slipped on some ice when she came to visit and sprained her wrist. The ice was from water from my apartment coming from a hose that was put outside a few months ago. I think I'm going to have to tell the landlord to find a place to put the hose so that it doesn't any more people. Mom had to c...

This was a while ago, but in Japan during the 60s there was a popular anime called Rascal the Raccoon. It was based on a book written in the US about the author adopting a baby racoon for a pet but a year later has to release him back into the wild. In the anime the boy also eventually releases Rasc...

I read that they're going to censor Roahld Dahl's most famous children's stories by removing insults such as "fat" and "stupid" from the books. Apparently "they" think if their kids say such words from reading the books they're going to immediately burn in hell for all ...

Last night I discovered an interesting website about many different kinds of slang words from different countries and times periods and such. They had a list of Canadian slang, and they had the word "caper", which means someone from Cape Breton. But they said Cape Breton was a town in Nova...
