The Food of the Gods (1976) A low-budget offering from Samuel Arkoff's American International Pictures. It's not very good on the production values front, the scriptwriting, the acting, or just about anything else, but it's loosely based on an HG Wells novel and has some sort of residual relevance ... |

DarkStar. 1974 Sci-Fi comedy, where astronauts on a twenty year mission in space destroy unstable planets. An early John Carpenter movie. I remember loving that film, I may have to watch it again. https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/deflated-beach-ball-white-105431789.jpg I prefer Red Dwarf which was i... |

Republican candidates have long competed against one another and the Democrats over who is the most hardhearted. This is a party that sees a lack of empath as a virtue, and celebrate how many people they judge as leaches and eaters they can punish by leaving them with nothing. The GOP was ruined fo... |

Sacrifice.
Lovecraftian horror, where a man returns to his childhood home in Norway with his pregnant wife, only to find that his mother had killed his father, and had fled to America. Soon, they begin to understand the eldritch horror she had been trying to escape. Pretty decent horror flick. |
