it can definitely work to sign up for eHarmony. but if you hav money to burn you may be better off getting a few therapy sessions to learn to build up some confidence. that will give you results that you can use online AND in real life. I've been going to therapy for a couple years now. It's hard f...

There are many reasons why people are single. Some voluntary, some not. Myself, I'm voluntarily single due to the involuntary reasons.. of that makes sense. Due to reasons beyond my control, I haven't felt like a happy confident person with something to positively contribute to a relationship and th...

Neither of those videos expressed KKK-on-black-people hate for Autistics. The first one was a clip from a longer film, and there's no way to know what sort of context it was used in without seeing footage before and after it. Regardless of other footage, with the struggles my own family and others I...

I don't think an assessment is something you can or should study or prepare for. It's meant to assess you as you are, not as you're acting to be because you practiced something ahead of time. There are some really bitter tasting anti-nail-biting "nail polishes," that you could paint on your fingerna...

Just do as I've done and don't reply to her posts if there's no value in doing so. She does have a point or two she's made, especially replying to my post... but she ironically doesn't seem to see that her perceptions and paradigms of the subject matter taint her point of view with a Verdandi shade ...

Nope, but I *almost* feel like I deserve an award for how good I treated others this Christmas.. but I do it because it's who I am, not because I think I should get some sort of prize for it. This year I put in tons of time doing fundraising to raise cash to help out the family of a guy I used to wo...

I can relate to both sides of this. In the past there've been times when I've been so depressed and anxious that the last thing I wanted to do was be around happy people because it would just frustrate me & I also felt that in my state I had nothing to contribute but doom and gloom that would po...

Based on my experiences, I believe that the root cause of IBS symptoms and Autism symptoms are one in the same - or that at the very least the digestive issues amplify Autism symptoms if there's a genetic predisposition component to it. I implore you to read the thread linked in my signature. It too...

as much as they have a right to believe in a cure, it's our duty to educate them so that they don't want one anymore. Again, not going to happen. I, and others like me, don't need to be educated about our own Autistic traits that we find to be a hinderance to our lives and would rather be rid of. F...

but we have to teach them that searching for a cure isn't right why? Says who? That may be your opinion, and you're entitled to it, but myself and many others disagree. No amount of "teaching," me about your opinion is going to persuade me to agree with it, for I believe that searching for a cure i...

but you also said you would fight for our right to not believe in a cure. you may wanna do it but you won't. some rapists in federal jail like to contribute to good causes, but they can't/shouldn't, and the reason is because they set a bad example. you set a bad one for people like me. I said I'd d...

You don't & you wouldn't get it from me if you did need it. I've been abundantly clear in this thread that I support treatments and cures, especially since I've been able to completely minimize my own symptoms via diet and herbal treatments as is outlined in the thread link in my signature.

It is your right. And yes, I meant agree to disagree, do as you wish, suit yourself etc. I'm a firm believer in personal rights and freedoms, as well as freedom of speech. I quite like the Voltaire quote "I may not agree with what it is you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say...

For s**ts and giggles.. I'm not allowed to touch any of my students. The only ones who get a small pass are the kiddies and 1st graders. Everyone else, I'm supposed to turn away from a hug. I'll lose my job otherwise. Hugging at a party is totally different than a work place environment. Is the ter...
