| while i won't advise "don't do it!" [i've been there before also], i will say that there are still other workable options far less extreme and permanent, and that i sincerely hope you redouble your efforts to investigate these options. |

| i like the sound quality of 15 inch per second 1/2 track open reel analog tape recorders. IF you keep them clean reel to reels sound great.
