Congratulations on those very big milestones you did make ! That sounds very progressive for a Aspie person. … think I was imitating sounds for almost a year that formed compound sentences . Then I shut up for many years . Just did not speak :nerdy: Even at 5 yrs was not verbal . Then all at once .... |

I was probably the most disliked boy ever at my then 506-511 year old public school. I was very shy and introverted, physically and socially awkward, crap at sports etc. I.e very different from the standard brash and supremely self confident public school boy. I've never been able to get over the ef... |

i dont get how most autistics disagree with autism levels i mean i know autism can be too complex to have a set level but usually the more complex it is the more its inbetween which is level 2 I don't disagree as much as I'm not sure which level I realistically fall into. That's probably not helped... |

I don't get why people expect everyone else to have perfect coordination and do everything at lightning speed the moment they become an adult. It's like adults with motor skill delays don't exist. :? I also don't get why grown adults default to getting frustrated if others aren't as good as things ... |

I'd very much like to see a system based on support needs as opposed to IQ. One that takes into account adaptive functioning <IQ. I do badly adaptive functioning wise compared to what might be expected based on my intelligence level. That has not helped re the treatment I've. received as a person wi... |

With me it was smelling gas or even more the smell of a roll up cigarette. My wife used to smoke those, but she died in 2005. I've never smoked. |

For quite some while I've noticed that my sense of taste fluctuates. It's especially noticeable with sweet tasting things. Anyone else here experience the same? |

I don't get why it can be acceptable to be openly contemptuous of people you think aren't very intelligent , but posting an image of a good result you got, with no disdain for other people, is seen as a major faux pas |

So Twitter is going to go downhill very fast now. Oh well, I suppose it's inevitable. I expect Elon will introduce paid plans too. I'd found a nice community on Twitter full of genuine people who are now my friends. That community will probably not last now that 'free speech' i.e. racist, homophobi... |

There's very little that's truly radical about the 1st lot. Their quixotic desire to enable the Tories until their version of an ideologically pure party can be achieved is regressive and not progressive. |

I suspect the latter, but hope I'm wrong. I would not be happy if it became subscription based, and even more geared towards the the affluent... |
