Has anyone here ever used Cannabis for emotion regulation or to prevent a meltdown or stop it all together? It's like an instant effect for me. I can be in the middle of a meltdown but if I smoke a joint/bong my anger instantly dissipates. I also don't believe this is some sort of marijuana dependen...

I do this a lot and I'll usually repeat quotes/phrases/words over and over again until I'm out of breath or feel I've had enough. It feels a lot like Autistic inertia to me, I'll pace around for an hour and I'll keep telling myself over and over to snap out of it but I can't it seems.

you should calmly remind him of what you do. im not saying that to mean you've done something wrong (or didnt do the right thing), but its possible hes just unaware of the fact as a lot of autist tend to be very self absorbed by nature.

mate i was in your same circumstances at one stage (and am now still) and i can tell you, sex and relationshits are extremely overrated. i dont know what else might be depressing you but i assure you, once you get a years worth of it you'll realize how not worth your time it is.

I was afraid of it when I was young but I built up a tolerance. I avoid it if I can now but if it's something I have to go through with then so be it.
