Same thing happens to vehicles... they destroy the originality to make them shiny. In a row of vehicles I'll always go and look at the unrestored ones, they are the ones that interest me the most. Pro-touring removes the originality to improve the functionality. :nerdy: Personally I'd much rather h...

I'm not sure it's a matter of either/or. Tibet's pre-CCP leadership was atrocious, but so are the CCP. There isn't a good guy in that conflict. Correct. But the CCP was the lesser of two evils IMO. They at least attempted to bring modernity and secular reforms to that land that time forgot. I'm not...

Cyber Monday online sales drop 1.4% from last year to $10.7 billion, falling for the first time ever It's enough to be noticed, but not enough to be sure of the cause. I doubt it's entirely due to people choose to not spend, but it may turn out to be optimistic that it's entirely due to people spre...

I can despise someone’s actions without hating them. I never said anything about hating anyone. I'm just not willing to pretend like Tibet's old government is deserving of any support or respect even if their current government is also not deserving of support or respect. That wasn’t directed at yo...

I'm not sure it's a matter of either/or. Tibet's pre-CCP leadership was atrocious, but so are the CCP. There isn't a good guy in that conflict. It’s worse. They are having their culture assimilated. https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/08/31/tibet-china-repression-xinjiang-sinicization/ I'm aware of that,...

China has gone soft. I miss Mao . Huge parts of the U.S. desperately need a Cultural Revolution. Mao was an incompetent leader who inspired mass murder. Not sure if you're joking or just uninformed. How else do we cram NYC/SF/Seattle/Sweden values down the throats of the rest of the country? It's i...

Instead of helping to pass a resolution congratulating Barbados on stepping away from their colonial past the Tories decided to have a sing-a-long of God Save the Queen.

I'm starting to get the hang of adjusting brake bias on the fly to improve lap times. I usually have it adjusted too far forward like if the car was a road car, it's good for safety but not for getting the best lap times.

I want to start building LEGO sets. Building things can be very therapeutic. Got any theme in mind? I like the Castle/Viking/Ninja/Pirate themed stuff. :nerdy: I really like Disney LEGOs and the LEGO Friends theme (they look girly and childlike but as long as I like them it’s fine. Exactly, no one'...

It's not to say the vaccines don't have their place. If your vulnerable then they're a no brainer but for the life of me I can't fathom their benefit for young and healthy folk. Young and healthy folk are more likely to become Long Haulers. Exactly, and that's a significant concern even if one does...
