What I thoroughly dislike morally and have utter contempt for intellectually is the Tory party's vacuous BS of 'He/she did well because they worked hard vs 'they're poor because they're lazy'. To a very large extent they ignore the genetic lottery of life and how that affects outcomes. |

It's in the process of rooting out and expelling those who are antisemitic. Starmer is doing what Corbyn didn't do(chose not to do). |

What do you think was nutty about Corbyn? Free broadband for all. Unilateral nuclear disarmament to name but two. If he's stayed on Labour would have been wiped out at the next election imo. There's nothing nutty about free broadband for all. Corbyn was the only good thing about Labour in decades. ... |

An intellectually and morally bankrupt, self serving, odious and incompetent Tory party needs to be out of power for at least a decade. |

I'm a mixed bag RE loneliness and the need for company. Most of the time I'm fine just by myself, in the sense that I don't feel overly lonely. However there are times when I do feel lonely. I've had very very few friends in the nearly 66 years I've been alive . I have no idea how to make friends. A... |

Another reminder that while the adult and particularly non male adult diagnosis situation is a lot better we still have a long way to go. Unfortunately Shifra made the common error of seeing a psychiatrist instead of a psychologist for an autism diagnosis. Psychiatrists job these days is to diagnos... |

Random, repetitive, stop start noises can make me feel tense. Noises where I can't tell where the noise is coming from can ramp up my paranoia. |

I don't get why anyone who isn't a moral degenerate would still want to vote for the Tories, given how increasingly self serving, intellectually and morally bankrupt they are It's been in power for over a decade and still blames Labour for everything. It refuses to take responsibility for anything, a... |

Spoon theory. Just seems to be something used to emphasis how disabled a person is, but there's no concrete example of how many spoons are being used per task and disability. It's way too abstract and subjective. |

Totally agree that it's frustrating. I'm not an ambitious and competitive person, but could have done better than I have done with appropriate help and support. |

I can seem to be quite together during a short interaction where verbal ability dominates the interaction. Indeed verbally I’m quite a bit better than the average pdoc. From that it had been reckoned, till I moved here, that I should be capable of coping well in all situations. Failure to do so didn’... |

Should how well a person is doing be measured, clinically speaking, by the degree of noticeable symptoms they're presenting with- or the level they're functioning at in comparison to demographically matched people from the general population? |

I have a degree and I have a job.... cleaning toilets at the university where I got the degree. Real big-brain energy. Comparatively speaking that's better than no degree and never had a paid job. I was too stress prone to cope well with a highly demanding job requiring brainpower, and too manually... |
