No, mon ami, your comprehension cannot elate me nor your incomprehension depress me. I have erred - and I totally despise being wrong. The only thing worse is being wrong in public. I alluded - hah! - to starlings taking over other birds' nests and kicking out the young of the rightful owners leavi... |

Glenn Beck seems like a nice enough guy. Though I'm sure well intentioned, I find much of what he says to be inaccurate. I wouldn't fear him though. He's like a big, sensitive (and sometimes ridiculous) teddy bear. :) I think he was that at one time... a passonate (even vulnerable) voice of conserv... |

Anything coming from citrus fruit has citric acid: lemonaide, orange juice, grapefruit juice.
Ive heard that cranberry juice is alkali ( opposite of acidic).
What other beverages, and fruit juices, are also alkali? |

One simple example than even I can understand is this difference between a "countable infinity" and an "uncountable infinity". The number of all integers is infinite, but atleast you make a start at counting them ( 1,2,3,4,...). The infinite number of all odd numbers is the same infinity as the infi... |

You know, ruveyn, the fact that you even posted this thread makes me think, in regard to living breathing hate machines, you ought to exam yourself in the mirror. And yes, I am a Lutheran - of largely German ethnicity - and I have yet to hear any Antisemitism in any r Hate is a strenuous emotion. T... |

Remember the "Harmonic Convergence"? All of the cycles of all the ancient calenders ( Mayan included) converged on some day in the 1990's. Something good was supposed to happen ( I forget what- utopia breaking out or something). It was supposed to be the positive opposite of doomsday. Folks gathere... |

Thats just it. Those arent quite "names". They are unwieldy phrases stuck on to your first name that function the way a modern last name does to identify your linneage. But thats how names come to be. If you lived in medieval England and your father was a baker, chances are you would apprentice to ... |

I think the reason God created us (although I was raised in a non-religious household, and am no expert on such matters) even if he's just going to send us to hell is because he gave us free will. Therefore, he did not create us to disbelieve in him, but we chose to disbelieve in him. Just like peo... |

Im not sure I understand the question. As someone posted "you can believe what you want." But what I think youre really asking is" is belief in God respectable ?" I think most athiest can imagine believing in God. Just as many theists can imagine not believing in God. So belief in an abstract Judeo/... |

Well- thats kinda my point. You can name a team after a White ethnic group ( French Canadians) so why not after Indians? Im being the devil's advocate. I do have to admit that "Redskins" is a pretty dumb ( to say the least) name for a team. Doesn't "Canadien" refer to all Canadians, regardless of r... |

*raises eyebrow* Mormons are Christian. According to them. Not according to other Christians! Theyre so far out that they are disowned by the rest of christendom. Mainly its because they add a whole extra book onto to the bible(the book of mormon) written in the 19th centurey. You can niether add n... |
