My feeling on the matter is that Jesus was doing something very wrong somewhere in his teachings considering the fact that his Christian followers conquered oppressed and destroyed much of the world to feed their cattle cult. I see that same thing as their crimes proved his teachings correct, human...

Do you have any reasons? Question is excessively vague. Anyway, here's some word history from Online Etymology, maybe that's what you are wanting, but there's no reason you couldn't have looked this up yourself; nephew (n.) c. 1300, neveu, "son of one's sister or brother," also "a gr...

Well unlike a Christian I don't believe humans can redeem themselves by claiming to believe in Jesus. While at first glance it may sound like splitting semantics hairs, there is a thing there; we humans don't redeem ourselves. There is not one thing we can do on our own effort or merit. Never has b...

The increase in sightings is merely do to the increase in the number of alarmists with cell phones...nothing to fret over. Easy to spout in a dismissive manner but how easy to legitimately document that there is no actual increase in numbers of the things including the number of unsighted ones? I'm...

What is your experience with poetry? It varies. In both the reading or hearing, and the writing. Is the inability to understand poetry a feature of autism? That might be a question where the answer is, yes it is a feature for some autistics and it also is a feature for some in the non-autistic popu...

For teachers to underestimate the outcomes of students based purely on a particular learning style, not only does a dis-service to the student, but also to society. Yeah, but on the other hand, it does reduce the work involved in mass-producing moderately educated workers for the economic powers to...

Makes sense to me. At both the personal experience and observations of others levels. Yep, do relate so very deeply to that, I would have difficulty graduating from high school because I could not pass algebra. It was too abstract, with no visual correlations. This is true for many of today’s studen...

But when a friend of hers is in the car with us she engages with that person, talks to them, asks them questions etc. She seems to KNOW that it would be rude or unfun for that person to sit there and have her ignore them. So why does she not do that with me? That is what I can't understand. If she ...

With the effects of ME/CFS and the energy burned yesterday going to the 30 miles away city to the neurology clinic for an overnight sleep study, the only thing I've 'cooked' today is that for lunch I microwaved a pair of chicken thighs from a big pack baked yesterday then refrigerated.

I'm going to say a thing as though it were a documentable, peer-reviewed, fact which is universally accepted as self evident; the problem is not any given economic system, the problem is the inherent sin nature of the humanity who do any given economic system. Therefore any and all economic systems ...
