You walk resembles that of a mildly inebriated emperor penguin.

When I was younger I was lucky enough to find a man who did not talk much and we got together every once and awhile and cuddled and watched a movie together. After six years that ended because he wanted a more serious relationship. Since then I can not find another man like him. I'm now in my forti...

Those wacky conservative Christians say the darnedest things, don't they? Fortunately, attitudes toward the gay community are improving, even if it's not at a particularly staggering pace. I think in 20 years or so we'll look back and wonder what all the controversy was about. Rick Perry likens homo...

I'm not totally certain at this point whether I have AS, but when I was younger I went through a period where I would lie constantly about myself, simply because it was too painful to reveal certain realities -- like things I hadn't done in life, for instance. It was never planned, they just sort of...

Yeah, the only thing the U.S. leads the world in any more is number of incarcerated citizens. Very sad story, indeed. Certainly there has to be another way of dealing such small crimes other then tossing people in the clink.

Yes, I'm having a little trouble with sleep at the moment due to having a lot of things on my mind. I wake up repeatedly during the night and find it very difficult to fall back to sleep. Fatigue during the day will will plaque me when I don't get enough physical activity, which isn't very often thi...

Shopping at Walmart is just one of those necessary evils when you live in a rural America, I guess. I admit, I go there frequently but don't feel too good about it because of some of the issues already mentioned (bad business practices, low wages, bad treatment of employees). Two very minor issues t...

The neighbours even have the England flag pinned across the front of their house where I live. Eeek. Is it world cup time or something because I don't watch live TV so have no idea about these things. Yep, the World Cup is going on now. The last time I went to see my ex-girlfriend in Switzerland fo...

I like to get a couple of large empty bags of Sakrete and fill them with Styrofoam peanuts. Next, I put on a sleeveless t-shirt, take them out into the front yard, and slowly hoist them over my head while making a loud, primal grunting sound.

SoftwareEngineer brings up a valid point. It's never a good idea to send images featuring "naughty bits" that also include your face because they could come back to haunt you. Even if the recipient isn't local, it wouldn't be nice to imagine one's naked image being available for public consumption o...

I have this horrible aversion to looking at pictures of myself because I always have the same look on my face ? just a faint, pleasant smile with no dental work exposed. Unless someone can pull a laugh out of me by saying something amusing, I seem to be unable to fake one. For some reason, it just s...

I get it. When the one we love is physically present in our lives, they are there to comfort us when we crash from life's frantic pace. At the end of a long, hectic, day, you can come home and regenerate in their presence. Going at a slower pace and creating a more relaxing atmosphere is essentially...

I definitely think you should go home immediately and write an email to the local paper telling them of this startling revelation! Right now! Go! Befor...
