Whenever I've been working a lot on studying a language I'm not fluent in, my brain starts randomly tossing out words/phrases from that language at other times. I'll be chatting with someone and suddenly think "groente" and then part of my mind is preoccupied trying to remember what that m... |

Actually, most autistic people don't fail the Sally-Anne test, especially if you're over age 10 and have an IQ over 60ish. There's a lot of evidence showing that IQ and language ability are more strongly correlated with the Sally-Anne test than autistic traits are. And it's a really basic test. Also... |

Most cultures around the world don't have the expectation that young adults must move out of home. Even the places that do have that norm have generally only developed it very recently - a hundred years ago it wasn't a thing. The trend is the opposite here in the US. When my parents were young adul... |

What kind of side effects did birth control pills have on women anyway? I'm not sure if you're joking, so forgive me if you are and I'm giving a serious answer here, but it varies by the formulation and individual woman. There can be both psychiatric (depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc.) and p... |

I wonder if the problem is that you're getting your physical activity in the form of working out - ie, doing something for the sole reason of exercising. If you found an activity to do that involves exercise but has another purpose, it might be a lot easier to motivate yourself. I've been told my cu... |

I don't have any good advice, but this was basically me at that age. Part of the problem was that I hated school, but demand avoidance was also a factor. |

I didn't learn what a period was until I had my first one...probably because my puberty onset was very precocious and it wasn't expected as soon as it was. I was almost 10 at the time and I started bleeding in class at school. I thought I was ill at the time and got really scared, so my teachers ha... |

I know there are other cultures that aren't as hair-aphobic. Body hair might even help to protect the skin from infections and junk. Too bad I was born in a culture where everything is done the wrong way. I don't know about body hair in general, but pubic hair definitely does. Shaving in the pubic ... |

I recommend the book More Than Two by Franklin Veaux and Eve Rickert. And not just to people who are involved or interested in polyamorous relationships - a lot of their advice would help monogamous relationships, too. |

Blanchard identified four types of autogynephilic sexual fantasy,[26] but stated that co-occurrence of types was common.[24]: 72–73 [4]: 19–20 Transvestic autogynephilia: arousal to the act or fantasy of wearing typically feminine ... |

People fearing a majority is not discrimination because it holds no power. While a woman fearing men in general is misandry, her fear of men holds no power against them so this is socially acceptable which is why no one bats an eye about it and while people just shrug it off. Just because a group h... |

His school is talking about not having him attend because it is not acceptable. Wow, what an overreaction!
