It's been a pretty hectic last few weeks at work, with people being out and just being busy in general as I work retail. I got scheduled both days of a weekend, which normally don't bother me. Last weekend I got scheduled for both days of a sale, which was already very draining to me from all the pe...

I think I did pretty decent with it given the chaos and having health problems for one of those weeks even if im starting to feel better now, I'm still going to a doctor to get checked ou...

if you live in a bigger area there's also apps like meet up too for that kinda thing Related to this, I used to be on Meetup.com and met some great people through walking groups. Especially two older women I became friends with. That said, it was rare anyone my age came to those meetups. Different ...

Its a jeep compass 2012 I have no idea of its worth but the damage seems mainly cosmetic if there's anything else i just think the wheels are out of alignment. Jeep compass? Sounds a lot better than my car and I have full insurance. Not sure what you are playing Russian roulette for given you have ...

You’ll likely find that the body work is more money than it’s worth. I had both bumpers replaced and painted on my 2013 Dodge Dart, paid for by insurance. I think the bill came to something like $3800. The car brand new listed 18k but I bought it new for 12k. No way 2 plastic numbers and some paint...

I've made a few friends from coworkers in the past if we had similar interests, so if you have anyone like that you're friendly with at work. Maybe ask them if they want to do something like grab lunch or a coffee together sometime or even go to the movies or something that's a mutual interest. I've...

What kind of car is it and what's it's approximate value? If it's an old somethingwhatever not worth a lot of money and the damage is all cosmetic but everything functions just fine - including lights - then sometimes the best thing to do is.. nothing! Just drive it around as is as don't worry abou...

One ever so slightly overfills with the filler and then sands back. Is the bumper metal or plastic? Metal can be hammered out. Plastic has different ways to fix it. the bumper is plastic but i did manage to make the dent on the front a little less obvious and i could get some cutting polish to get ...

Also, when most of the dent is removed one has the fun job of filler to make the surface look carlike again before one paints the area. Car bodies are like tin cans. i was just reading up on fixes even other then if i can get in behind the panel, i saw a trick with hot water and a plunger that migh...

As long as you didn't lease the car, you can drive the car, and it doesn't look TOO bad, just keep the car till it dies, then trade it in as scrap, then buy another car. If it's YOUR car, then nobody can really criticize you severely. They can counsel you to be more careful in the future. That's wh...

Do you know for sure insurance won't cover it? I had a similar situation many years ago, but I hit a guard rail. Scraped up one side of the car pretty bad. I didn't contact the police, but insurance did cover it. my insurance isn't full tort so I don't have collision damage, so i didn't file a claim

I've been having a really hard time with this to the point its giving me major anxiety, and tightness in my chest. My car is in kind of rough shape from a few days ago, I was half asleep from lack of sleep from the stress of work lately. I scraped against a brick wall of a church, and even if I didn...

I am quite sympathetic to you. Working in retail sucks. Working as a manager in retail really sucks. I’m sorry you had such a rough week. that's what I don't get I'm not technically a manager so why am I running things so many days? they never really trained me on this other then how to close the s...
