What’s the three dates rule?

One would think that a divine being would avoid speaking figuratively about such a topic and would, instead, say directly what he, she, or they means to avoid certain confusion and harm. "They", talking about imaginary things. “They” is far less imaginary than the god(s) of the Bib...

Actually, Bart Ehrman, who I cited above, was a believer until in-depth research into the Bible made him change his stance. I fall into this demographic as well.

None of the Gospels were actually written by the disciples they are named after. Matthew included. They were written decades after the life of Christ by scribes literate in Greek (Christ's disciples were not literate even in their own native tongue of Aramaic). The posthumous naming of the anonymou...

The Bible contains many contradictions. Yes. But if some people are going to lift a possibly sarcastic passage about eunuchs out of context to mean that church leaders need to be celibate, then they really shouldn't skip the part that says explicitly that church leaders absolutely have to have a wi...

[A]ll the Gospels were written anonymously, and none of the writers claims to be an eyewitness. Names are attached to the titles of the Gospels ("the Gospel according to Matthew"), but these titles are later additions to the Gospels, provided by editors and scribes to inform readers who t...

I wouldn’t lump marijuana with hard drugs which are truly harmful. My cousin smokes marijuana because it helps her manage her PTSD. It has fewer side effects than stuff she took in the past for it.

I have no problems with marijuana. I have problems with cocaine, heroine, etc.

It’s really easy to get a credit card from Walmart and Amazon. Their standards are pretty low.

I’m just saying that women enjoy oral sex, too, so they can imagine how a guy feels.

The specific body parts involved aren’t that important.

I swing both ways and wouldn’t think this way as the giver or receiver with a female.

Going back to the initial post: Women often enjoy having oral sex performed on them just as much as men do, so why couldn’t they imagine how guys could feel and empathize with them? I’m confused. In a more general sense, sexual pleasure is enjoyable. I wouldn’t be upset if a guy wasn’t into oral sex...
