Oh c'mon, it couldn't have been that bad. Unless it was something illicit, in which case you couldn't cite it if you wanted to. shameful why? if it was legal, it is respectable. if nothing else you show you can work hard at something you don't like for four straight years. that is an asset in anyon...

Does anyone else feel the same? Not really. I just pretend to be happier than I actually am and people except me. When I was studying in TAFE, I was chatting to one of the letcherers after class and he casually mentioned that in a previous job he worked with aspies. He then proceded to explain to m...

You don't need more exes.

What stupid things do you say to make her mad? Can you give examples? One time she said "BRB" and came back six hours later. I called her out on this, saying BRB is meant to indicate a short absence. She got mad. She got over it quickly. How has she expressed interest in you By saying stuff like "y...

That might work. I'll suggest the Star Wars one since she thinks nerds are sexy. Actually what I'd really like to do is get her to take a Myers-briggs Test but it might creep her out if she works out I'm trying to psychoanalysis her. I already creeped her out once today when I worked out when her bi...

What's wrong with our society? If you're more likely to make a mistake, you get punished more when you make one.

Their concern was that I have not worked for 3 years and haven't anything to show for my time off That sounds like a vicious cycle. We live in a society ruled by workaholics. Workaholics are more likely to gain positions of authority and then they expect everyone to enjoy working sixteen hour days ...

Okay so what about someone 8 years out of leaving school who did nothing for 4 years and then had a job for 4 years that's so shameful they're not even sure if they want to put it on their resume who wants to start a first (not second) career at age 26.

This is temporary, and I'm getting 8 hrs of sleep. I'm just working 13 hrs a day (5 days a week), and I have my job under control. 13 hours a day? 8O You could have a heart attack! Everyone needs other forms of rest besides just sleep and with the remaining 3 waking hours per day, you'd only have t...

I've been talking to a girl on dating site for a while now. It seems like we've been hitting it off and she actually seems to like me. It probably helps that on her profile she says she thinks nerds are sexy. They don't come much nerdier than me. She even reacted positively when I said I like Star T...

Bookkeeping might be less stressful for me. Stress was what kept me out of a real job for a long time. I was on a supported wage but now I have to get a real job in order to resolve my self image problems. Even a relatively simple one like bookkeeping would do. So it's a two year course in America? ...

Thanks again for the advice. I think my attention to detail can sometimes border on pedantic if it's something that interests me. The thing that concerns me is, will they still employ me if my typing speed is only 50 words per minute? I guess that's a bit on the slow side.
