Tales from the LPD, the Libertarian Police Department I was shooting heroin and reading The Fountainhead in the front seat of my privately owned police cruiser when a call came in. I put a quarter in the radio to activate it. It was the chief. "Bad news, Detective. We got a situation." &q... |

I find this the most interesting point - and most promising. "Cut the chimney" progressive 90% taxes like they have in Nordic countries aren't designed to be paid - they are designed to discourage CEOs from pocketing huge parts of the company's money. So, from this point of view, designin... |

Some things that are rarely done, but should be: 1) Identify the rich. 2) Decide how much you are going to take from them. 3) How do you make sure they don't just run off to a tax haven? Are you going to reverse globalisation (with serious short term consequences) in whole or in part just to tax the... |

Heavily vaccinated Ireland now has excess death rates as bad as they were in 2020. Doctors have no idea what is going, except for some reason they are certain it wasn't the vaccine.

I mean if it is unaware and cannot feel things what's the problem exactly? just that it has human dna soup inside. What's wrong with killing babies painlessly a few days after birth? I'm not asking rhetorically. For the sake of argument we can reasonably assume the killing causes the babies no suff... |

Yes, the non-sentient human embryo/fetus...so how is that worse than eating meat from sentient animals that have been killed? Granted I support the idea of laboratory meat so nothing sentient has to be killed for food, but the world is not there yet and I'm no vegan. It's ending a human life premat... |

I was about to say good luck finding that, but then I found this:

Some total lunatic programmed this and it seems to work for quartics with any number of variable coefficients you like. |

An embryo/fetus is not the same thing as a sentient baby/child and if you knew basic biology you'd be aware of that. I am all for protecting children I just oppose forcing women to carry pregnancy to term to create one if they don't want. Generally, it's a human with a future unless we intervene. B... |

I mean why can't christians just opt not to have abortions, rather than trying to force it on the rest of it. In the end according to their beliefs god is the final judge, so why not just leave it up to god to judge the 'sinful aborters'? Try that argument for other crimes. Sometimes you have to pr... |

And mosquitos are free from sin, aren't they? Indeed they are and I invite you again to continue that line of argument. I am lazy today, I'd rather you argue we should treat children no differently than mosquitos and then have to defend it from my nitpicking rather than me propose the opposite and ... |

Mosquitos are innocent in the purest form of innocence  Please, continue this line of argument. I am curious where it leads. It's not really interesting. I simply reject your claim that not having any morality is the purest form of innocence. Mosquitos are a classical counter-example. http... |

Aborted children are innocent They have no morality at all yet - they only exist at the expense of their mothers' bodies (just like entirely wanted babies-to-be-born do, btw). Raising children, I often laugh at the idea of "innocent children". Children are to learn morality yet . That's i... |
