Thought this might be a good addition to the daily question threads, especially since it's intended to encourage self care, self reliance, proper nutrition, getting out of a depressive state and back to doing for yourself, learning to cook new things, eating better for less money than fast food or ...

And while we are on the subject...is a "kosher Asian burrito" possible?

Or a Kosher ham and cheese sandwich?

A kosher ham sandwich would not be possible to the best of my knowledge because ham is made out of pork which is not kosher.

Is it because there's legit reasons for thinking it's the most "oppressive" system in the world or is it simply because certain naive types (aka 'useful idiots') of the West are being convinced that they have to hate it by the Marxist Propagandists spreading lies mixed with truths on the ...

For those of you who were diagnosed as being on the spectrum in your adult years, how helpful was the diagnosis? I am finally taking the steps to see if I am on the spectrum. It has been on my mind for years, but I never went through with it because I figure that it wouldn't help me much. I have le...

This question is mainly for other males on the autism spectrum. Once you reached a certain age did you ever have the desire to put on a pair of sneakers, jump in the water and go for a swim? Did it make you feel awkward and did it cause you have feeling that were either pleasurable or unpleasurable...

Ok, that's not a business like I know of. I don't think most of us have lived like your family so it's taken a few posts for you to knock it into us that there is no work in that business. I don't know what other advice I can give I'm afraid. My goal was to get a job, any job, so that I could have ...

I had a friend who had a college degree in theology. He got married, had children and needed to make more income than things like "assistant youth pastor" would pay. He used his personal contacts to get a job in marketing, working for a marketing company. He was able to use his people ski...

Why don’t you go for a Texas civil service position? Take a civil service test. Well I dont want to be a employee for the rest of my career .I only want to do it for a couple years until my business and community organizing/preaching career gets going. However, the civil service is my last resort be...

Ah yes, the you can't have a job unless you have experience, but you can't get experience because they won't give you a job conundrum. Been there. It's very frustrating. I would say try and get experience in any sort of office work regardless of whether it uses your degree or not. Then you will hav...

Fprgive me for sounding a little silly but wouldn't it be better to distill water since it cleans the water better? Also, while I respect your father's decision to buy ammunition for SHTF, I must stress the point that rounds and arms are not going to keep you fed during a prolonged grid-down SHTF. ...

To Texasmoneyman300: Are you and your parents sure there isn't anything you could do for your parents' oil company, perhaps just a part-time job at first, that might eventually turn into a full-time job? My dad refuse to pay for my role at the company because the company does not make enough to sup...

Just to break the ice . . . It may not be too late to sign on for the “season” at H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, or Liberty Tax. This job would start mid- to late-January, and last for maybe 4 weeks. . And you should know that going in. Once the early season gold rush of people who know they’re get...

I remember that feeling. What are you finding to be your biggest challenges in finding work. When I was looking for entry level unskilled jobs I couldn't get past the interview stage. My biggest challenge is finding a job thats not a McJob and requires me to have a bachelor's degree. I don't really...
