Some other things I've learned about making posts with links to YouTube videos: - If you want to link to a specific part of the video, add something like this to the link: "&t=1m23s", but without the quote marks. (This would make the video start at 1 minute and 23 seconds instead of at...

My dad wasn't the one who scolded me; it was my little brother. I don't believe that anyone can be old enough to "get away" with acting immature; if anything, older people should uphold a higher standard than younger people, on the grounds that they should know better due to more years of ...

When an adult critiques a child for indulging in bad behavior, they’re commended for it. When a child critiques an adult for indulging in bad behavior, they’re criticized for it. That doesn’t make much sense, does it? When my father was driving one of his friends to his house, my dad opened the wind...

You know how a good number of young people these days unironically act like overbearing social justice warriors? Well, my younger brothers have had enough of that kind of behavior... and decided to act like the polar opposite of SJWs. I'll admit, there are a good number of typically left-leaning gro...

Let's try getting beyond "Aloha Snack Bar" and MEMRI TV for a moment; this thread is for discussing Muslims in general from around the world... 1. A good number of Muslims are rebelling against government officials that are critical of soft sciences and the humanities ( LINK ). 2. Some of ...

Much like how my dad sometimes forgets to put on his seatbelt before leaving the carport, my mom has a tendency to make phone calls while driving. She doesn't even consider pulling over to the side of the road, or finding some nearby parking garage, or anything! What do you think I should do?

I've been keeping this to myself for the last few weeks, but I've finally decided that I needed to tell somebody about this: one of my younger brothers has become fairly bitter, pompous and prone to latching onto vices. During my family's latest trip to Las Vegas, my brother went to the card tables ...
