The phones in the old phone booths were called, simply, phones. There used to be phones on the wall-called wall phones. Then we had the desk-sets--phones which stood on desks. We didn't buy phones until the1980s. They were installed by Ma Bell. We RENTED them.

I agree it's his problem. I can't believe an Aspie would hold these views. Many people rant on forums. I bet he's actually a pussycat with women in real life. This is his "aggressive" part of his passive-aggression.

I walk a bit slower than I was walking previously. When I get home, I take an immediate shower. I don't run anymore because of my bad knees. I walk about a 14-minute mile.

People are impatient on the roads. On highways, 10 mph over the speed limit is the norm. What drivers don't realize: when one goes 5-10 miles, like they usually do in NYC, it takes almost as much time to reach a destination going 50 mph as going 60 mph. Even at 40 mph, it doesn't make much differenc...

I've run marathons--my best time, though, is 3:47:03.

I used to really enjoy running, especially on Route 107 between Hicksville and Oyster Bay, New York. I used to love to hear the frogs croaking.

That would NOT happen in NYC LOL. When I was 32, I think I parallel-parked badly--so I failed. I finally passed at age 37.
