What was he thinking? 8O What were you thinking in not providing a link to a news story about whatever you're talking about? I had to check to see if I was in the random section. Well...I guess that everyone in the UK knows about it. I didnt know squat about it either. I figured that the "Bori...

Many asteroids are rich in iron ore. If we avoid nuking ourselves we may start to colonize space. Build cities on the moon, or cities that float in space itself. It would be cheaper to get the materials from asteroids than to ship the pig iron up from the earth. And if we get successful at this mega...

Those alarms are like car alarms. They are triggered by innocent folks/things 100 times for every time they are triggered by a real thief stealing something. Folks who work in retail are aware of that fact. Other shoppers might judge you but not the store staff. I know cause I used to work in retai...

Its a thorny subject. I tend to think of "empathy" as meaning something like "compassion". But the mental healthcare community uses the words differently. A book that the doc (who diagnosed me as aspie) gave me about aspergers- says that the words "sympathy" and "e...

Ive told the OP to contact a shrink ...several times, on this thread. But...maybe he should talk to a contract lawyer. Get these folks who are "milking" him to give him a piece of the monetary action! Youre already a "he b***h" so you oughta get some $ for it! https://youtu.be/PE...

Havent read the long article, but my guess would be that...if your mitochondria arent up to snuff then...autism...would be the least of your problems. You wouldnt be able to walk, or talk. Youd be like a car that ran out of gas.

So I dont buy it.

Point number one: autistics are SUPPOSED to lack "empathy". Its supposed to be a diagnostic trait. So you complaining about how everyone thinks one thing, when in fact the stereotype is the opposite. Point number two: Be aware that "empathy" is one thing, and "sympathy"...

I thought this was two people arguing, not agreeing with each other? Shakespeare's Sisters Stay is a pretty creepy song. I don't think they want you to stay for wholesome reasons. You need to try and escape now. I was torn between using Sly ...saying "I will stay, but only conditionally",...

^ That explains it all. I do sorta recall seeing more actual kids on the show back in the day, and now you see puppet kids, and few actual kids. Well since it's a matter of muppets replacing human children, then the objection to them now introducing an Asian one would be, what took so long? My gues...
