Over two years ago, I lost my aunt to a stroke, who I had an at times awkward mother-daughter relationship , while I am an outsider to my family. Therefore, they are not very supportive, rather, they live in their own little world. As I said in the past, I bent over backward relaying the information...

Moving to another part of your country can be very challenging and especially for people on the spectrum. I would give it 6 months or so to get settled.

So what are some movies that you refuse to see? Whether it's because they are poorly made or because they contain horrendously offensive content. There's no limit to having reasons to write off a particular film. Here's my list: Cannibal Holocaust A Serbian film The Human Centipede Faces of Death C...

Sounds like depression to me. Don't be too hard on yourself about that. When things get rough, try to think of the things that are good in your life. Would you like to live with your grandparents? Are there any practical reasons why it wouldn't work out? Would your parents let you? If you'd like to...

Hi:
I was curious if anyone in here has seen Monsters at Work on Disney +? Being that I love Disney and Pixar, Billy Crystal, and the Monster's Inc movies, I love the show. My favorite character is probably Dunkin being that he's such a stinker. Everything he does cracks me up.

Being that I have subscription to Disney +, I decided to re-watch Goof Troop being that I grew up with it on tv. What I am finding is that I finding is that I have outgrown the series. These days, I find the episodes to be a little too silly. Yet, I still love both Goofy movies and still enjoy mysel...

I feel so sad. I feel guilty for it. My grandparents want me to live with them for a while. They love me. I just feel so much apathy lately though. I feel like I cannot manage it. I want to be happy. I do not understand what I am feeling to be honest. It's one of the weirdest feelings. I'm lost. It...

Ok, I will work on being more consistent in the future if I like someone while also being more persistent. Even if some guy wants to use me as a rebound, I will stick to my guns. In the meantime, I leave him alone by not inviting him to hang out one on one or even in a group. If he feels that way th...

A few years ago, I developed a crush on a former friend's roommate. That said, there have been several hints that he's not really interested though he's jerked me around a few times. 1. A few years ago, he asked me out one minute and then the next he posted on FB that he had just went on a date with...

Hi: I have two friends who are also on the spectrum and though they have good friends who are nice, they seem to keep going back to another friend who is bad. From what I seen, this person: 1. Uses people for money 2. Plays the victim card 3. Acts like a friend as long as the other party does what h...

One of the main problems I ran into with this group was that it can be very hard to connect with others on the spectrum for the following reasons 1. Misreading each other's body language and social cues 2. Could not do certain activities around some of the members - For example, one member got mad a...

Years ago, I attended a peer support group which was a guinea pig group that was funding by a university. They never wanted to do any activities outside of the bi-monthly meetings. There was always some sort of excuse. They were also very rude. One of the members always came and seemed to enjoy bei...

I had an issue with a driver who was different than in the person in the profile. Rather, he explained that he was the lady's son who was driving. Though he seemed nice enough he was nosy. He kept trying to talk to me but I told him to drive carefully and that I was texting a friend. I also told him...
