Mechanical_Judiciary,
You have a horribly skewed idea of morality.

If the coat hang abortion fails then it is a fiat of both natural selection and divine justice. 8)

It's a mystery for me, how voicing such an opinion would be supposed to "defend the sanctity of life".

I believe in the death penalty.... For murderers. No inconsistency here. Unlike a condemned inmate, an innocent baby didn't do s**t.

Life is not all rainbows for babies who are unwanted by their parents.
What do you think happens to them after birth?

To understanding how pathetic that argument is consider the fact that if you were born in poverty, would you retrospectively support your abortion?

Are you serious?

What about doctors who remove cancerous testicles - they're killing all those sperm!
And let's ban hysterectomies too, while we're at it!

Sperm multiplies by meiosis, I am an astronomer and even I know this, it has an incomplete genetic sequence. A fertilized cell has a static, complete, fixed and unchangeable genetic codex. It is comparing peanuts and watermelons.

Why not? What is so much more special about these unborn fetuses than about everyone else? What is so much more special about me than about everyone else? If I had been aborted for whatever reason, I don't suppose the world would have been so very different without me.

Should those unlucky enough to be born be terminated to spare them misery?

Where I live, the debate is literally at this point - can those unlucky enough not to be able to ever live outside the womb be terminated to spare them misery?

If what they were doing could even be considered a contribution in the first place, that is.

I want to remind everyone about WrongPlanet.net rule against publicly discussing banned members.
I want to make it clear that we welcome respectful debate.

Banning trolls shows just what an anti-troll bias this site has. The Liege of Veracity has spoke. 8)
